JJ yawned as his parents quizzed him about Penelope. After they had read the blast, his parents had decided that they needed to find out as much as possible. His mom had been asking questions about whether Penelope was good enough for him and his dad had been asking him about how good Penelope was. Meanwhile JJ had tuned out and was mumbling yes or no every so often. He didn’t know what he had been agreeing or disagreeing with but he didn’t really care. He was too busy thinking about what was going to happen with him and Penelope. It had just kind of burnt out and he didn’t know if Penelope wanted nothing to happen or if it just didn’t happen. It was hopefully the latter but he wouldn’t know without asking her and that would just be awkward. Like what would he say, “Oh yeah just kinda wondering about the other night. So did you want to have sex with me or what?” he thought. JJ looked up at his mom who had her eyebrows raised high.

“What?” JJ asked suspiciously.

“You think that Penelope is the one you’ll end up?” his mom smiled.

“And that she’s the worst but best you’ve ever had?” his dad laughed.

JJ rolled his eyes and jumped up from his seat on the sofa.

“Thanks for the inquisition. I’m going to go to somewhere, anywhere else” JJ said, emphasising the anywhere.

He walked out and as he was walking down the corridor he bashed into Penelope.

“So I just want to tell you that all that happened was you slept in the guest bedroom because you were drunk and didn’t want your parents to see you drunk and you wanted them to think you stayed at Milo’s. Nothing happened between us and I’m sending Gossip Girl that information” she gushed “I just wanted to notify you first”

JJ blinked trying to figure out what she had said “Oh okay I get it. Nothing ever happened between us and never will, I understand”

JJ didn’t mean to sound so disappointed and lame but it just came out that way. Penelope went as red as her hair.

“No you don’t understand what I mean. I just meant that Gossip Girl should think that nothing happened. You know what I mean now don’t you?”Penelope rambled.

“Yeah I get what you mean loud and clear”

Aw poor JJ, his heart is broken but didn’t somebody mention that they have a little crush on him? Or is that forgotten?

“They’re here” Charlie told Elizabeth as they both picked up their handbags and headed downstairs.

To Charlie it was always fun to see Henry’s limo waiting for her, it made her feel like she was some celebrity that the paparazzi were always following. But for now she had to stick with it just being Gossip Girl tracking her and her friends every move. The two girls slid into the limo stylishly and greeted Henry and Will.

“Why do we always have our meetings in here? And why are you wearing sunglasses?” Elizabeth asked, her last question aimed at Will.

“Ah that was well last night” Will answered vaguely.

“Oh William you deprive them of their air, aka gossip. It was stripper. When she was performing her shoe might have hit him directly in the face. And for the former question it is a matter of transport” Henry smirked “George take us to Water Street”

Charlie gave him a curious look “I thought you hated Brooklyn?”

Henry chuckled “Mostly I do but we have a passenger waiting for us there”

Lily smiled as Lucia Yuki and Juliana Hornsby, her minions, brought her her coffee. She was sitting at her usual table in Bocado Cafe. Lily loved having people to do everything for her; she had much more time left to plan how to extract secrets from Elizabeth. The door opened and Issie walked in, her hair swept back with the wind and her face slightly red with the cold. She looked around the cafe and when she spotted Lily’s table she walked over and sat down.
