Last night was magical. I can't believe it was real, because it feels like a dream. Braden was an amazing guy. Now is my turn to surprise him, but how?

I get up from bed and take a shower. I head upstairs and everyone is up but Braden. Well, we had a long night, so he probably is still sleeping. They all said they were going to the pharmacy and then to the supermarket to buy Christmas dinner and the snack. They are already leaving so I decide to stay and have some breakfast. After they leave, I get an idea.

I look for everything I will need to make some breakfast. After a while, I gather everything I need. I prepare scrambled eggs, ham and toast with blueberry jam. And just when I'm finishing, Braden appears.

Claire: Good morning, sleepyhead.

Braden: Good morning, beautiful.

*We kiss*

Braden: Where's everyone?

Claire: They went to the pharmacy and to the supermarket.

Braden: Okay. Ummm, what is that delicious smell?

Claire: Breakfast. Scrambled eggs, ham and toast with blueberries jam.

Braden: My favorite breakfast. What an amazing way to start the day. Especially after the special night we had.

Claire: Yeah, the perfect way. I hope you like it. I'm not the best cooker but I put the best of me.

*Braden took a bite from the eggs and then a bite from the toast*

Braden: it's delicious. Just being cooked by you makes it amazing.

Claire: Oh now I'm blushing. I'm glad you liked it.

Braden: So there's something we need to talk about.

Claire: Okay, about what?

Braden: Well it's about our relationship. I mean, what we have.

Claire: Okay, I'm listening.

Braden: I think we should try to keep it a secret, you know. I think it's for the best.

Claire: A secret? Are you embarrassed of me or of being with me?

Braden: No, it's not that, it's just that with all the college drama I have with my parents, I don't want them telling me that I don't need distractions and all that stuff. You understand right? I mean I want to give this a try but I need it to be a secret for the moment.

I remember, vaguely, that he was fighting with his parents because of the career he was choosing.

Claire: Okay, it's a little hard to understand but I guess I can keep it a secret.

Braden: You are amazing. Thank you, it won't last as a secret for long. I promise!

What. The. Heck! Is he serious? I mean I know he had some problems with his parents and that it's been hard, but this...I don't know. Well, I guess I can give it a try, after all it feels amazing being with him.
