When they got back to Jimin's apartment, Yoongi rushed into his own to change into pajamas. He came back out in sweatpants and a sweatshirt, a snapback resting atop his greenish hair. Jimin raised his eyebrow.
"Why are you wearing a hat?" He asked. Yoongi half shrugged.
"So I don't have to deal with my hair."
Jimin frowned, and he reached out in the dark hallway to tug at a blue-green lock of hair escaping the hat. Yoongi bit his lip and his eyelids fluttered shut. His Adam's apple bobbed, but Jimin didn't seem to notice.
"But I like your hair," he protested. Yoongi forced his eyes open, and his pupils were slightly dilated. He managed a snort and Jimin retracted his hand quickly, suddenly aware of how long his hand had been cradling Yoongi's face. He unlocked his door and thanked God that the darkness of the hallway hid his blushing cheeks. He pushed the door open and led Yoongi inside, the plastic bags rustling in their hands. Jimin's palms were sweaty as they set the bags on the table in the kitchen. Jimin flicked on the lights and said, "Come with me."
They walked to Jimin's room in two different types of silence. Jimin's silence was filled with the sound of his blood rushing in his ears and shaky heart beats. Yoongi's silence was tentative; he felt out of place in Jimin's lived-in apartment.
"This is my room," Jimin said awkwardly as they entered his bedroom. The white walls were plastered with photos and paintings, and his bed wasn't made. He grabbed his collection of Disney movies, hoping Yoongi would like them, and all the blankets on his bed. Unfortunately, he stepped on the hem of a blanket trailing on the floor and crashed to the ground.
"Ow," he groaned as he rolled over. He heard Yoongi laughing above him, and pushed his face into the mound of blankets, hoping to disappear.
"Let me carry some of the blankets, Flower Boy," Yoongi said. Jimin rolled over, opening his eyes, and his heart stopped. Yoongi was leaning over him, his legs on either side of Jimin. Jimin snapped his eyes shut again and let out an involuntary squeak. Yoongi snorted as he grabbed a few blankets and stood up again.
"I wasn't gonna try and sit on your face, although I wouldn't mind that," Yoongi said, and Jimin opened his eyes halfway, hoping it was clear and that Yoongi's crotch was a safe distance from his face.
"I'm going to smother you with these blankets," Jimin grumbled as he stood up.
"How would I watch these Disney movies then? You have all my favorites!"
They migrated back to the living room and set out the blankets on the floor. They arranged their cupcakes on plates in front of them and sat side by side on the floor, wrapped in their respective blankets. They had about twenty cupcakes, and Jimin dimmed the lights as the first movie started.
After the third movie, Yoongi had "accidentally" eaten sixteen of the twenty cupcakes by himself, and Jimin protectively gathered the remaining ones to him. As the credits rolled, Yoongi turned to fix his best puppy eyed expression on Jimin.
"You are not getting anymore, you fatass," Jimin growled. "These are mine!"
A sly, determined expression slid across Yoongi's smooth features. Jimin clutched the plate to him, suddenly afraid. Yoongi just crawled away from him to put the next movie in. It was about two in the morning, and neither of them were tired yet. Yoongi's eyes were wide with the sugar, and Jimin felt rather dizzy every time he looked into them. Instead of resuming his position, Yoongi lunged forward, half-landing on Jimin's body and grabbing for the plate of cupcakes.
"No!" Jimin screamed, and plucked a cupcake off the plate while shoving Yoongi's face away. Yoongi came in for another swipe and Jimin smashed the vanilla cupcake into his face. The frosting exploded all over his shocked face while Jimin doubled over in laughter. Yoongi sat upright, freeing Jimin from underneath his body.
"I am going to eviscerate you," Yoongi threatened, wiping at his face. He collected the frosting on his thumb and stuck it in his mouth. "You know, there's really only one other thing I'd accept getting shoved into my face and that would be your di-"
"Yoongi! Shut up and watch the movie!"
"Okay, okay," he grumbled. They became absorbed in the movie again, but after a half hour, Yoongi ended up looking at Jimin, who was slowly enjoying a double chocolate cupcake. His eyes were wide, and the TV's light played over his face. Jimin looked over as Yoongi started scooting over to him.
"Let me snuggle with you, I'm cold," Yoongi whined.
"You're so annoying," Jimin huffed, but when Yoongi opened his blanket, Jimin cuddled up to his side. "You're also a liar, you're really warm!"
"Just shut up and enjoy using me as a mattress."
"Okay, fine."
Their legs were extended in front of them, Yoongi's left leg thrown over Jimin's right under their blankets. Jimin laid on Yoongi's chest, cushioning his head with his hands. Yoongi was comfortable and warm and most definitely making Jimin's heart beat abnormally. Yoongi's left arm held Jimin close to him.
He couldn't help how safe he felt in Yoongi's arms, their blankets wrapped around them like a cocoon. They were both extremely comfortable in this position, and when the movie ended, Jimin whined about not wanting to get up.
"Okay, let's try something," Yoongi said.
"No."
"You didn't even hear what it was!" Yoongi protested, indignant. Then he sat up, ignoring Jimin's complaints. He pulled Jimin across his body and put his arms under Jimin's legs and shoulders.
"What the hell are you doing?"
"Do you like flying?" Yoongi asked.
"What?"
"Here we go!" Yoongi crowed, and stood up, carrying Jimin bridal-style while Jimin screamed like a little girl.
"The TV is like ten steps away, Yoongi, you could've killed me-"
"Shut up," Yoongi said, then gently deposited Jimin on the ground, who crawled back to their blanket nest and glared at him balefully.
"Jesus Christ, it's 3:43 in the morning," Yoongi said after sliding in the next DVD.
"Well, after that little stunt you pulled, I'm not in the slightest tired," Jimin retorted. He folded his arms, and Yoongi shoved him over so they could settle in to their former position. As the movie started, Yoongi began playing with Jimin's hair softly, and despite what he had said about not being tired, the action was so soothing he began to fall asleep. He may have imagined it, but he heard Yoongi say softly, right before sleep took him, "Jimin, I think I might be falling for you."
