Jimin could hardly wait until they were back in his apartment to kiss Yoongi. He smashed his lips to the other boy's with the need that had swirled inside him for the past week. He relished the way Yoongi gasped into his mouth and took the opportunity to slide his tongue against Yoongi's. Jimin moaned, and they broke apart for air.
"Next time you go on a trip, bring your fucking phone with you," Jimin said, chest heaving. Yoongi laughed, and fuck, Jimin had really missed his smile.
"How about I bring you with me?" Yoongi retorted, then wrapped his arms around Jimin. Jimin snuggled into his chest, Yoongi's luggage scattered around them like the remains of the distance that had separated them.
"I really missed you," Yoongi admitted. "I thought about you every day, and my family wanted to know who you were."
Jimin laughed, sound muffled by Yoongi's neck where his face nestled against it.
"I thought about you every day, too," Jimin admitted. "People even asked where you were."
Yoongi snorted. "As if."
"I'm not kidding! Besides, the store was quiet without you." Jimin tightened his arms around Yoongi, as if afraid he would leave again.
"Wait, speaking of the store, did you really close it to camp out at the airport?" Yoongi demanded, holding Jimin at arm's length. Jimin met his eyes sheepishly.
"Yes..."
"Jimin! We have to open it again!"
"Do we really?" Jimin pleaded, giving his best puppy dog eyes. Yoongi huffed a sigh and said, "Fine. But only for you, Flower Boy."
Jimin thought his heart was melting. "I really love you," he said, tone urgent. Yoongi's face split into a huge, gummy smile.
"I really love you too." He leaned forward and kissed Jimin's forehead. "Do you have any food?"
Jimin laughed and shoved his shoulder.
"Let's go to Cafe Bliss!" Jimin suggested, unable to keep the giddiness from his tone. Yoongi was back.
"I could use twenty of their cupcakes," Yoongi conceded. Jimin ran to his room and and grabbed Yoongi's sweatshirt and snapback.
"Here," he said, embarrassed, shoving the sweatshirt at Yoongi. Yoongi took it and raised an eyebrow.
"I'm keeping the hat," Jimin assured him. Yoongi threw up his hands and sighed.
"Whatever," he said. "It looks cute on you, anyway." Then he spun the brim so it was facing backward. Yoongi kicked his bags aside as they passed and linked their hands, gripping Jimin's aggressively. Jimin just laughed, and they walked to the cafe. Jimin couldn't keep his eyes off Yoongi the whole way there; it was like he couldn't believe he was real. They entered the cafe to a serenade of high pitched screaming. Jimin immediately whipped his head around to see if some girl was being murdered. All the patrons looked as confused as he and Yoongi, though. Heart sinking, he slowly cast his gaze to the counter.
Hoseok.
Why?
"Finally, my ship can sail!" He yelled, looking at them with nearly the same amount of excitement Jimin had contained at the airport.
"What the fuck is he talking about?" Yoongi muttered to Jimin out of the corner of his mouth.
"It's hard to explain," Jimin said, then reluctantly dragged Yoongi to the counter.
"Hey Hoseok," Jimin greeted in a resigned tone.
"How could you do this to Jimin?" Hoseok demanded, stabbing a finger at Yoongi. Yoongi molded his face into an expression that somehow contained bitchiness and fake surprise.
"Excuse me?" He asked, tone cool. Hoseok wasn't fazed by this.
"Do you know how sad and pathetic Jimin looked when he came here alone?" Hoseok screeched. The majority of patrons had looked away by now, but a few stares still lingered. Jimin facepalmed, then wondered how Hoseok had managed to keep his job here. Yoongi started laughing, evidently realizing that Hoseok meant no harm. He knocked the brim of Jimin's hat, asking, "Really? My baby boy was that upset?"
Jimin jabbed him in the ribs, as Hoseok squealed. He felt like squealing, too. Baby boy. He cleared his throat, hoping he wasn't blushing.
"Can we get six vanilla cupcakes?" He asked, throwing in a kick to Yoongi's shin. Hoseok grinned and grabbed the cupcakes, putting them into a little bag.
"You guys are goals," he said as they paid. Jimin rolled his eyes, but Yoongi replied, "I know right?"
Jimin dragged him out of the store forcibly.

Back at Jimin's apartment, they deposited the cupcakes, and Jimin allowed Yoongi to unpack his bags. They settled in on the couch and threw on a movie, snuggled together, eating their cupcakes. Like before, Yoongi ate the majority.
After the movie, Jimin sat up.
"I found the video," he said. Yoongi's face was blank for a second, then understanding dawned upon his face in a mixture of pride and embarrassment.
"And?" He asked, looking down. He drummed his fingers against his thigh, and Jimin picked up his hand gently.
"The song was beautiful, Yoongi. But I'd love for you to play it for me in real time."
"O-okay." Yoongi stood up, grabbing Jimin's hand. They walked into the flower shop, and Jimin was thankful for once that the aisles blocked the windows. If anyone saw them, they'd have to open the store for business.
Yoongi sat down at the bench, then patted the space next to him. Jimin sat beside him, laying his head on Yoongi's shoulder.
"I'm going to make so many mistakes if you keep doing that," Yoongi said.
"I don't mind."
"Okay." Yoongi laughed softly, then began playing. Jimin closed his eyes and let the melody wash over him. It was even more beautiful the second time around, and Jimin turned his face into Yoongi's shoulder to hide the tears that were streaking his face. Again. He knew that no matter how many times he heard the song, he'd cry every time. Jimin opened his eyes and watched Yoongi's hands move across the keys as he finished with Can't Help Falling In Love.
"Fucking hell," Yoongi said when the last note melded with the air. "I fucking love you."
Yoongi laid his hand against Jimin cheek, and Jimin relished the way their skin touched. Yoongi wiped away Jimin's tears gently with the pad of his thumb, then took his hand away, covering it with Jimin's on the bench. Jimin used his free hand to tangle his fingers in the green hair at the back of Yoongi's head and bring their mouths together. The kiss was innocent and sweet, Yoongi's song a beat to the rhythm of their lips.
