*Memories!!!*
A cool breeze blows across my window
And turns over my life's pages📖
Bringing back some sweet memories
Revisiting them after ages!😃
I sit beside the window
Caressing the memories gently
As a warm tear escapes my eye😢
Travelling through my cheeks
It rests on my smiling lips
And I wonder why did I cry?🤔
Some familiar faces
Few names forgotten
Emerge from the pages of past📖
I find my tiny figure
Amidst those faces
And realise time has travelled so fast!⏳
There were days we fought
And days we cried
Playing some childish game🏃
I smack my head
And laugh at my ownself
As they now sound silly and lame!🙈
There were promises made
Of being friends forever
And to be in touch always👭
The memories mock at me
For the promises were left behind
As we walked ahead on our ways!😔
Technology, today, has played its role
And gathered us under a common shelter📱
Let's bring those promises alive now
And remain in touch forever!!!🙌
