Chapter 5

We laid there motionless, our bodies intertwined with each other. The warmth of his body against mine made me feel safe.There was really no other place I would rather be in this crazy fucked up world then be in his arms, he made me feel safe.

He lifted my hand towards his lips and slowly kissed it softly over and over again, with my head still on his chest listening to his heart beat like it was a song."I love you" he said still kissing my hand, "I love you too" I said wrapping my other arm around his waist squeezing him tightly.He slowly sat up and pulled me up to him, I sat in between his legs leaning my head back on his chest, he wrapped his arms around me and whispered something in my ear that made me feel like I could walk on thin air, "will you marry me?" I quickly turned around to where I was facing towards him and placed my legs around his and hugged him tightly and kissed his soft beautifully shaped lips I leaned in closer to him and whispered in his ear,"yes"

After hours of just quietly talking to each other about what our future was going to be like together and trying to keep our minds off of what we should be focusing on,we heard a faint noise in the distance,He stood up quietly moving towards the side of the brick wall,I could see him peer into the distance and than he quickly turned around and grabbed my arm,"Matt,what's wrong?" he didn't say anything and starting pulling me towards the depths of the of the forest, "matt tell what's going on!" I yelled in a faint voice. He cupped his hand around my mouth and softly pushed me up against a tree, "they found us."
