Chapter 7

Feeling the pulse of my heart beat all over my body as we ran, his hand clenching onto mine.

I thought we would be running forever till it happened.We saw something we were never supposed to see, something no one knew existed.

He slowed down as we got closer, I stood close behind him, holding his arm, "What is it?" I asked softly while looking at this somewhat clear reflective wall standing in front of us. He scrunched his eye brows together and slowly walked closer telling me to stay back.I let go of his arm and stood back as he stretched out his arm then placing his hand on this wall.He then started to laugh and looked at me still laughing and his hand still on the wall.I looked at his confused,maybe the walls making him laugh? I told myself.Then he stopped laughing and turned back to the wall and leaned his head on it.I slowly walked up to him about to softly place my hand on his back but before I could he punched the wall and started yelling like he has lost his mind. "you fucking fuckers!" he yelled out loud "were just a fucking game!" I backed up as I could feel my whole body shake.He walked up to me and grabbed my face,"don't you see babe? were just a fucking game to them!"I pulled away knowing he was right but at the same time I feared him right now."Matt clam down I know I'm pissed off too but we should keep quite and find out more." He looked at me sweat slipped off his forehead, I walked up to him and hugged him."I'm sorry for freaking out, i..i just..knew something was wrong but I didn't think it was this bad." I nodded my head and kissed him. I sighed "you ready to find out who has been doing this to us the whole time?" he looked at me and slowly said yah.He softly grabbed my hand kissed it then we started walking along the wall to see if we could find someway to get in.I ran my hand over the wall trying to feel for something but we could not find anything till hours later I felt a indent in the wall, stopped and he jerked back. "did you find something?" he asked walking closer to me. "Yah I think I did, but I'm not sure." I grabbed his hand and put it where mine was.He pushed on the indent and we heard a small click sound, he paused and then pulled it to the side to reveal a huge bright white room with a single desk and three chairs placed in the middle.On the desk were two glasses of water and a platter of different types of food. We both stood in the doorway confused.He slowly took a step in as I followed close behind.I looked around not seeing any doors, just blank walls.We approached the table and slowly sat down in the chairs.I went to grab the water just before i could the door we came from shut and the lights went out.We both stood up quickly, he grabbed my hand and whispered "stay close to me"
