Sorry for this late update guys but I am on vacation right now and it is hard to find time to write. I am really sorry and I promise I will update when I find time till the end of the summer and then we will go back to Monday and Wednesday updates. Enjoy😊!
You didn't know why but you felt like The Avengers had taken something from you and by killing them you would take it back. You were full of anger, anger that you didn't know where it came from and why and you had to concentrate on your mission. You were working with a guy for this mission. He was strong and tall but he didn't have super powers. You felt an unexpectedly attracted to him.
You two decided to hit the Avenger's Tower at night to catch them off guard. You hadn't told your partner that your real mission was Captain Rogers. He believed that you would just hit them all. Your boss had made clear to you that he didn't care if your partner got killed but he shouldn't know about your mission so you didn't care to talk to him.
You arrived at the tower at midnight. However all the lights were on. I guess Stark doesn't care about economy. You thought. The fact that the lights were on made you hesitate. You had the feeling that you were used to do missions in the dark.
Eventually, you and your partner decided that you should cut the power.
You couldn't find the source of the energy and anyway you had decided that if you cut the power it would drag way more attention that you wanted so you decided to try and move in the shadows the house already had.
You entered the building from the roof , from an air vent because it was the only place the annoying billionaire didn't have cameras. It was kind of hard though because you barely fit inside the it and that didn't help, it was way too narrow.
When you finally were inside the building on the top floor you powered your pocket detector to find Rogers. The detector read that he was there on the top floor in the room at the end of a hallway that seemed endless.
You followed the blinking red dot on your detector and after several minutes you reached the end of the hallway. For some reason you felt your heartbeat fasten.
Suddenly you head footsteps. They were heavy footsteps approaching you...
"(y/n)?"
