The day the circular burn marks appeared on my hand, I thought it was funny that it looked like Gallifreyan symbols, but scared how they just appeared and I had no remembrance of getting them. I told my mom, but of course she said I watched too much Doctor Who. I mean I probably did but still. I just shrugged it off and went on with my life, but after a few months the burn still wasn't gone. I told my mom again and showed her my palm.

"Honestly, Baylee, I don't have time for your fandom games. I really need to get this paper work done."

"What games!? Can you not see the gigantic circles burned to my hand!?"

"No I can't. Honey your 18, almost 19. It's time to stop being a 12 year old ok?" she said calmly and I looked down at my hand.

     "you really can't see it?"

"No, now I'm sorry but I really need to get this done, darling." she looked up at me with stress in her eyes.

"okay" i walked out confused, but for the sake of my mom didn't bring it up anymore after that.

Though they were still visible to me, I tried my best to pretend they didn't exist. But when I was lost in thought, like now as I sat on the couch in the living room, sometimes I would find myself tracing over the now scar like circle. It really frustrated me some times though. I mean where did the freaking things come from? Why am I the only one that can see them?

I had to let my worries go because my phone was playing the TARDIS materialization sound, indicating that someone was calling me.

"Hello?" i answer without looking at the screen. There was no response.

"That's odd." I look at my phone to see that i hadn't received a call, but my battery was at 5%. I walked into my room and grabbed my charger to plug in my phone. I laid on my bed and closed my eyes, intent on taking a quick nap while my phone charged, but my hand started to burn.

"ow!" I looked down to see the scar-like circles opening back up and burning bright red. I jumped up and ran to my bathroom to run cold water over my burning flesh. I got a rag and drenched it with freezing water. After wringing it out, I wrapped my hand in it and went back to my bed. It continued to sting though the cool cloth reduced the burn. The mark had never done this before, and I was terrified.

"Why hello there." I hear a familiar voice ring with an accent. I slowly raise my head to see a tall, brunette, young man with a bow tie standing in the middle of my room.

        "Doctor?"
