How to Curl Hair Without Heat
For Medium or Long Hair
1. Section off your hair. For softer waves, take thicker sections. For more defined curls, take thinner sections. This works best with slightly damp hair.
2. Place a skewer behind a section of your hair, and wrap your hair around it. It's recommended to wrap the ends loosely, and leaving out 1-2 sections so that your ends won't be too curly.
3. Grab the tip of the skewer upward through your hair. To make it extra secure, clip it into place with a claw clip or bobby pins.
4. Repeat these steps with the other sections.
5. Wait for your hair to be completely dry.
6. Take any clips out before pulling out the skewers.
7. Separate your curls.
8. Fix your curls and arrange them to your liking.
