1. Divide out your bangs and any sections you'd like to leave in the front.
2. Pull your hair into a half-up half-down ponytail, going in a slight diagonal line. Tie the section off with a thin elastic, making sure that the ponytail sits high on your head.
3. Take a small section underneath your ponytail and wrap it around your elastic a few times to hide them.
4. Tie the section with some hair from the ponytail, joining the two together.
5. OPTIONAL: You can curl your bottom layers to make the hairstyle more dressy. Tease your hair to make it more voluminous. Fix your hair to your liking. You can add a hair bow, or pull your bangs back.
DONE!
To transition this to a ponytail:
_____________________________
1. Tie the bottom layers underneath the top ponytail you created earlier.
2. Try to get the sections close to one another so there won't be a gap between them.
3. OPTIONAL: Add a big bow for a dolled-up look.
