brucecruz: So the worst day of a father's life has came to me today, the moment the most important woman in your life finally actually lets go. Or better said, I physically have to let her go. Rowan, I'm so proud of who you've grown to be. It's been a roller coaster raising you and your siblings, I was basically still a kid when I was blessed with you in my life. Never did my 19 year old self think that this day would ever come so soon. I'd like to think I had some kind of influence over that, but it was mostly all you. I know life wasn't easy for you or your siblings living with divorced parents and I promise you I regret ever letting you down. But that didn't stop you, you kept growing and fighting for what you wanted to become, I still remember the phone call when you were crying that you get the role in the first Iron Man movie. They're moments I know I'll never forget, and there's moments I wish I was there and wouldn't have missed. But I'm so grateful I'm here to witness your wedding my little girl, to see you marry an amazing guy (still not up to my standards, but hey, no man meets a father's standards, but he's pretty great). Thank you for being my daughter, making me such a grateful father, and a grandfather (at 45, Rowan, seriously?)

But all jokes aside, I'm so glad that you found someone who makes you happy.
