Chapter 12: Shannon's POV

The wavy brown hair, the big brown eyes, the look of guilt she had as we took off the mask. I should've known it was her, I'd been too silly and naive to assume this.
"Well well well, looks like you've been caught, Kaitlyn." I said as I looked her dead in the eyes.
"Look guys- I-" she started.
"Save it." Grace snapped.
"There is no possible excuse that's valid for us to hear." Michael said.
"Look just let me-," She started again.
"Do you really think we're gonna hear your pity cause Kaitlyn?" I rhetorically asked.
"Can you just let me explain?!" She yelled.
The three of us exchanged looks.
"Fine." Grace said.
Ok," Kaitlyn said. "You guys have no right to forgive me after the things we've been doing,"
"Wait," I said. "We? "
"Cara. She's the one behind all of this. At first she told me it would be a little prank but then she turned into something more serious. I didn't want to be apart of it anymore, but then she said she'd stop being my friend if I backed out. And I couldn't risk that. She's the only person I'm close with at our dance school, so I was forced to go along with it. I'm sorry guys."  She said as her eyes got cloudy with tears.
"Kaitlyn, you shouldn't let her be a bully like that to you. You have to stand up for yourself. And you can be friends with us. We forgive you." I told her.
I nudged Michael to say something nice.
"Yeah, what Shannon said. You can be in our group. And we have a plan to prove Cara is behind this."
"Tell me!" She said excitedly.
"Your on our side though, right?" Asked Grace.
"Absolutely. I promise."

After we told Kaitlyn the plan, we decided to split up Grace Michael and I, and Kaitlyn on her own. I gave Kaitlyn my old solo dress and the (empty) can of spray paint. I brought my old dress and  new Connecticut with me). "You know the plan right?" I assured her.
"Yup." She squealed.
"Ok. We'll meet you in the bathroom where we're gonna have the camera videotaping." I told her.
"Sounds good."
