I practiced my set in the practice room. It was about 7:00 pm and I had just gotten back from dinner with my mom. I knew I was prepared for tomorrow,I just wanted to go through every little piece of my set. Toe toe hold and spin and bang bang and treble toe down and double click down pull and spin toe toe danced as I had my headphones in my ears. When I ended my set I noticed that lots of people were watching me practice. Was I bad? Or was I just really good?
I decided that I practiced enough for the night. I had to dance at Oireachtas tomorrow so I couldn't wear myself out. As I took off my heavy shoes, a girl came up to me. She was about my age, 13 or 14, with brown hair.
"I just wanted to say that I watched you practice and you were really good. Good luck tomorrow." She ended with a smile.
"Thank you so much! What's your name?" I asked.
"Lauren Bradley. And your Shannon Doherty right?" She asked.
"Yup." I answered.
I've recently become a "famous dancer" on social media. So everywhere I go, people recognize me.
"Well I hope you do great tomorrow! I'm in your age group actually." She said.
"Hope to see you there Lauren!" I told her as I gave her a hug and walked out of the practice room. When I got to my room, I greeted my mom and took a shower. After my shower I did my curlers and laid out my makeup and wig stuff I'd need for the morning. As I laid in bed, it finally it me. I dance at Oireachtas tomorrow. All of that drama with Cara and Kaitlyn was gone. I had no more worries. I can just focus on Oireachtas now. Finally.
Before I knew it, my alarm woke me up at 5:00 a.m.
