I woke up at 2 in the afternoon. I had no idea it was July 7th.
I went downstairs and I saw my dad, my step mom and Alana eating at the table, I sat down with them.
"Had a rough night"? Asked my dad. Oh no does he know about me and Matt. "No why"? I asked. "By the way you look it looks like it". We laughed. They were eating breakfast apparently they woke up a while ago too. I served myself some pancakes that he made.
"Hey dad, I was wondering if I can go to Matthews birthday party tonight it starts at 7pm and I don't know what time it will finish".
He looked concerned "Yeah but only if Alana goes too and I'm counting on you two be responsible and smart enough to not fall for any dumb tricks boys or anyone else try to pull". He explained. I nodded. Him and my step mom went back upstairs to their Air conditioner because it's hot and humid as fuck down here.
" Well I see Hayes was here last night". I smirked and looked back too see if they were all the way upstairs.
"Yeah but nothing happened we just talked and is Hayes going to Matthews party"? She asked. I shook my head "I dunno ".
"Why did u come home late last night"? How does she know? "Matt invited me to dinner with his parents then I peeped some shit then I "cut him off" then I went to Carters house since we haven't seen each other in a while".
"Wait wait wait if you cut him off so why are u going to his birthday party. Aren't u gonna be the one looking dumb ,like u fucking "cut him off" then u show up to his birthday party".
"I'm going cuz Carter wants me to and ur coming with me and Always stay by my side". I said.
"Unless Hayes is there, then I'm leaving ur ass". She laughed I didn't.
"Okay fine". I said
I put my plate in the sink and went back up too my room. The amount of stairs I have to walk up is insane.
I walked in and the cold air hit me like a truck and I threw myself on my bed and sighed.
Jasmine texted me asking if she could come over but I was gonna take a nap until it's time to get ready.
Then Carter texted me. He asked if we could hang out and go to the movie before the party. I said yes.
I got up took a shower and out on a pair of jeans with a green shirt.
I headed out in my car picked up Carter and we drove off.

When we arrived first thing I see is Matthew with his girl friend Nicole. He looked hella unhappy. Carter noticed them too.
"We can cancel the movies if you want". He asked. I shook my head no "it's okay I'm here to hang out with you".
We walked past them to get popcorn and soda.Carter paid for me once again. He got us a large popcorn and a large drink with two straws. So sweet of him.
I felt a pair of eyes watching me and this time I knew it was Nicole. A hand grabbed me and turned me around.
"Alyssa is that you and your with Carter". She said unreasonably loud. "Umm yeah what it look like". I said with an attitude.
She had nachos and cheese in her hand I know what she is trying to do. I've seen this in movies.
As soon as she leaned in to dump they tray on me, I moved over and she spilled it on a guy that works in the theater.
Me and Carter walked away and we lowkey started laughing. Idk what movie we were gonna watch but he said it was hilarious as fuck.
We sit down. "Are you good? Do U want anything else"? He asked I nodded my head with a smile signaling no. I lowkey thought to myself, damn get you someone like Carter.
