~Chapter 5~

Devon (Jessi's younger brother): Coiffed blonde hair, Dark green eyes, and quite tall

Devon is five years younger than Jessi, meaning he is currently 15, he is a pain but is a really good listener. You can tell him anything. Is always supportive in your decisions, if he feels they are good ones.

~Jessi POV~

I flutter my eyes open and yawn. I roll around to realize that I was on the couch while Bri was sleeping on the floor cuddling a pillow. I roll my eyes and look around for my phone. I find is charging on the table by the couch. 9:56am.

I roll off the couch and walk to the kitchen I reach for the cabinet where the green tea was, which happened to be the top self. I would normally have Bri get it because she is a little taller than I am. I don't want to wake her up so I just climb on the counter and grab it. I get to making me tea. I set the tea pot on the stove and walk to my room. I never dress nice just to go to my moms house so i just fixed my hair and throw on some nike slides. I grab my car keys and phone and quietly walk out the door. I walked to the elevator and out to the parking lot. I got in the car and started to drive off. I had plugged in the aux cord and was blasting Green Day.

"SHES A REBEL, SHES A SAINT!" I sing from the top of my lungs getting looks from other drivers around me.

Soon I reached my mom house. Her car was not in her driveway so I assumed she wasn't home but my little brother Devon was. I unlocked the door and I was greeted by Devon dancing around in nothing but some basketball shorts.

"What did I just walk into?"

"Oh nothing, just me dancing, nothing exciting."

"Oh whatever." I pull him into a hug.

"What are you even doing here?" He questioned.

"I came here to pick up my mail, some of it keeps on coming here still, I don't know why."

I moved out to my own place over a year ago, and still mail keeps coming to my mom's house.

"Oh, yeah I saw it on the table." He points to the dinner table.

"Thanks," I grab the mail and walk back to the door. "I would love to stay but I gotta run."

"Why, you're never in a hurry to leave."

"I have to get ready for something, I'm going somewhere."

"Where is this 'somewhere', is this 'somewhere' a date" he winks

"Maybe, uh, I don't know?!"

"So your going out with a boy?"

"Yes Devon, I'm going out with a boy, but we are friends, we just met!"

"Do you wanna talk about it, you seen really anxious." He worries

Devon always cared for me and worried about me. He would always be the shoulder I'd cry on when Bri wasn't there. He would always make sure he was there for the people around him.

"Can we?"

"Come on, Talk to me Jess."

"Please don't tell mom any, of what I am bout to tell you."

"I promise."

"So me and Bri went to a concert last night for a band we love called 5 seconds of summer, i saw a doorway in the distance with no security, I walked away and walked down the hallway," *Tells rest of story*

"Wait so you met one of the biggest boy bands just because you like to explore."

"Pretty much."
