21>Bonus chap: Butterfly Kiss

Tiffany pressed the unlock button of her iPhone to check on the time.
"I think it's done already. Should i call? I won't disturb her, will i? Heck, it's just Taeyeon. Why i'm so worked up about it?" Tiffany mumbled to herself.

"...."
"Yes, Fany?" Taeyeon's gentle voice can be heard from the another line of the phone.
"Are you done?"
"You mean the concert?"
"Yeah."
"Oh, it's ended like 30 mins ago or so."
"How was it?"
"It was great, Fany-ah. It's such a relief after i finished the concert today without making any serious mistake. The crew did their best, the audience were very supportive and i'm pretty satisfied with everything." Tiffany can imagine how Taeyeon's smiling right now as she speaks.
"They went crazy when they saw my VCR." Taeyeon quickly added with a laugh.
"Ah, the one you ever showed me? Uptown funk?"
"Hahaha, yes, that one."
"Oh gosh, i won't even lie. You really looked like a real byuntae in that VCR."
"Hahaha, i am a byuntae, Fany-ah." Taeyeon said as she let out her infamous ahjumma laugh this time.
"Ah, right. And then how about your self-composed song?"
"They liked it, Fany-ah. They were so absorbed in it. No one made any voice through the whole song and only gave me a big applause after the song ended."
"Good for you then. Well done, boo. You have worked hard."
"*chuckles* Thank you. Enough about me. How ab--"
"No, i still want to talk about you." Tiffany cut her off.
"Okay. What do you want to talk about?" As always Taeyeon relented to her.
"Juniel came today? She met you at the backstage?"
"Hahaha, oh my God, how did you know? She just left the room like 10 minutes ago. Did she upload our selfie to her sns already?"
"Oh, you two took a selfie together too i see."
"Oh, you don't know? I thought you know."
"Nah, i heard from Sunny that Juniel asked for her help to book a seat in your concert, the best seat she can give her. And Sunny also told me she gave her a backstage pass."
"Ah, i see. Yeah, she's cute tho. She looked all shy and nervous around me. I tried to break the ice first by trying to make a conversation with her and all. She kept saying how happy she is today because she can finally meet me in person. She looked so proud to be my fans when in fact she's also a singer. I adore her for that. I mean it was seldom for an idol to boldy admit that she or he is a big fan of another idol. So i try my best to be a good sunbae to her by initiating a conversation with her. She said her original plan was just to ask for a handshake and a selfie with me, then she'll leave. Isn't she cute?" Taeyeon giggled.
"That was sweet of you. Bet she will love you more, fall harder for you, and fangirl-ing over you crazier than ever after this." Tiffany jokes.
"Hahaha, i will anticipate that."
"Dean was there too, right?"
"Yeah, we have a duet together, remember? And 'Starlight' is on the song list for my concert, so yeah."
"Did you two hold hand or something again on the stage while performing?"
"Mwo?" Taeyeon was a bit suprised with the sudden random question from Tiffany.
"Ani, just forget it. Right, Seo came too right like what she promised?" Tiffany quickly tried to changed the topic. Taeyeon finds Tiffany's behavior is a bit weird right now but she still answered it anyway.
"Yeah, she did. She acted like a real big fangirl of mine today with her lightstick and loud cheerings." Taeyeon chuckled, remembering how hyper Seobaby in her concert today.
"That's our baby." Tiffany too smiled along, imagining how Seohyun cutely cheering for her unnie from the audience's seat.
"Yeah. Our forever maknae. Anyway Fany, i have to change my clothes and then heading back to our dorm. Can i call you back later? Will you be busy?"
"Nah, call me anytime you want. I'll be waiting."
"Good. I'll call you again later. Talk to you in a bit. Bye!"

Once Taeyeon arrived in her dorm, she quickly run, literally run, to the bathroom to wash up herself with all of the energy left in her tired-exhausted body. She doesn't want to make Tiffany to wait for her call for too long. And knowing Tiffany, Taeyeon knows that the latter must be waiting for her call right now.


(20 minutes later..)
Taeyeon didn't even bother to dry her wet hair first with hair dryer like what she usually do after she washed her hair. She only use towel and wrapped it on her head in the meantime as she took her phone and dialed Tiffany's Kakao.

Less than 5 seconds of waiting, Tiffany picked up the call.
"You're home already?" Tiffany softly asked.
"Yeah. I just took a bath."
"Oh i see. So, i want to tell you. I'll take the earliest plane back to Korea once my schedule ended here. Can you please prepare a good seat for me for your second day of concert? Look, i'm so sorry i can't come to your concert on the first day but you know it's not like i didn't want to. I can't because of my schedule. So--"
"Fany, wait wait. Listen to me. I understand, i totally understand. And you don't have to apologize. It's not even your fault. As for your request, i'm afraid i can't. I can't prepare a seat for my concert tomorrow."
"Yah! Wae mothaeeee?? (Why you can't??)" Tiffany starts to whined like a kid which earned a hearty chuckle from Taeyeon.
"What kind of friend i am if i let you come rushing to my concert when you probably still suffered from your jet lag? I won't let you to do that, Fany-ah. Just rest in our dorm and i'll see you soon once the concert ended. We can watch my concert's recording and review it together."
"No, Kim Taeyeon. Don't even start it with me. YOU were the one who did it first by crazily showed up in the middle of my HBH MV's shooting scene when in fact you were just landing in Korea few hours ago from States for your MV's shooting. You came to support me and watched over me even when you still had your jet lag. I still remember how surprised i am to see you there when an hour ago you told me you just arrived back in our dorm and asked whether i did well in my MV's shooting. I told you that i'm a bit hungry but i didn't know you will come right away with my favorite eel. You're crazy, you know that? And don't you dare to blame me now if i also become a bit crazy just like you. We lived with each other for 12 years now. Of course some of your traits and behavior will affected me in some ways or another with i realized it or not."
"Ughh..Fine. I'll find the best seat for you. But if you fall sick on the next day, i'll kill you."
"Hahaha, whatever. I know you won't have a heart to kill me because you're gonna missed me when i'm gone. When i'm gone~" Tiffany starts to sing with somehow a teasing manner, trying to annoy Taeyeon more.
"Whatever."
"Anyway, i'll ask Jiwoong oppa, Hayeon, eomma and appa too whether they want to come with me tomorrow to your concert. I can ask manager oppa to pick them up if i can't personally do it. I mean if i don't have enough time to."
"You don't have to, Fany-ah. Just take care of your body and eat well. Don't make me worry of you too often. That's enough for me, you understand?"
"*chuckles* Fine. And i hope the same for you. Your concert and its preparation must be so tiring. Not to mention how you're a weak human paper."
"Yah!"
"Hahaha, but that's true. You can't deny it too, right?"
"Fine. Whatever."
"Tae.."
"Hm?"
"As much as i want to keep talking with you, i know you must be so dead tired right now and you have to wake up early tomorrow for the preparation of your second day concert. So rest now. And i'll see you tomorrow yeah? Well, i can't promise you because i still don't know whether i can make it or not. And also about bringing your family with me. But i'll try, okay? I'll try my best."
"Fany-ah, i told you it's okay. Even without you come to my concert, i already know how big your support for me and i'm always thankful for that. Thank you, Tiffany Hwang."
"That's what friends are for. No, that's what family will do. You know we can never choose our family. Like who will be our parents, or our blood related sisters and brothers. They are gift from God. But in our case, we're more special because we don't share the same flesh and blood. We didn't born from the same mother or father. But still, you're a family to me. Because i have choose you to be my family. Just like you chose me to be yours."
"Awww, Fany-ahhh, are you trying to make me cry now?"
"Hahaha you silly. Just bear in mind that i always will be there for you, supporting you, taking care of you, loving you."
"Hm, i know."
"Good. Now sleep. Good night, Taetae. Can't wait to see you again tomorrow. I missed you."
"I know right. It's not even a week. I missed you too, Miyoung-ah. Text me again tomorrow, okay? Or if you busy, at least let me know once you're inside the plane before you take off."
"I will."
"Hm. I'll try to get some sleep now. Good night, Fany. I love you."
