2>Taeyeon to Tiffany

(Tiffany's POV)
"you should go there with me someday, Sooyoung-ah. The cheesecake there, oh my God~" I was talking with my super tall friend while waiting in the waiting room for SNSD with the other member.
"I will, don't worry. If it's about food, i surely will go." Yoksi our shiksin.
"And you Yoong-ah, another shiksin, i'll let you know the place too so we can go there together."
"Kol (okay), dwaeji (piggy) unnie!" Yoona said in her annoying aegyo that calling for a slap!
Just then i felt someone poked my arm lightly. I turned around and see Taeyeon holding a bottle of mineral water right in front of my face.
"Huh?" I muttered out of reflect.
"Drink." She said. Ah, now i understand. I hold the mineral water, twist the bottle cap to open it and drink.
"Thanks." I smiled and give back the mineral water to her.
"Unnieeee~ why only Tippani unnie that get the mineral water?" Yoona whined childishly still with her aegyo. Geez, is there a way to stop her aegyo?? If there is, can somebody tell me how to??
"*chuckles* you want to eh? Jah~ (here~)" Taeyeon open the bottle cap and hand it to Yoona.
"Gomawoyo unnie~" Yoona grinned.
"Why it's always Tiffany first? I'm hurt ya know." Now it's another shiksin's turn to complaint like a jealous girlfriend to Taeyeon.
"It's because she has a sensitive throat. We all know how easy for her to lost her voice." Taeyeon explained.
"Aww, such a caring friend. Hope i can get the same treatment though." Sooyoung keep continuing her complaint.
"Yah, why you make it as if i didn't care about you?"
"You didn't. If you did, you won't laugh at me when i fell down from the salon's chair yesterday. Instead you should be asking me if i'm alright. Did i hurt myself."
"Hahaha, that was just too funy. I just can't help it, mian Sooyoung-ah. Besides i later pulled you up when you still sat down on the floor after you fell."
"Yeah, that's after you finished laugh at me."
"Hahaha, you know i love you, Soo."
I just can smile along while laugh once in awhile hearing their silly banter.
"Here." Now Taeyeon handed me a cup of ice americano with Starbucks logo on it. My favorite.
"When did you buy it?" I asked after take a sip on it. Ah, the taste is so refreshing.
"I asked manager unnie to buy it."
"Ah i see. Thanks again, Taetae."
"I SEE THAT TOO KIM TAEYEON!" Sooyoung yelled out of nowhere. Guess she just saw another special treatment from Taeyeon for me. Taeyeon and i just can giggling together at our shiksin's remark.
Taeyeon to me.. she's like my guardian angel. She's always there to take care of me, to protect me from anything that might harm me. We're friends with the same age and yet she's way more mature than me. She knows how clumsy i could be that's why she always make sure to watch over me even from afar. I know she never really expressed it with words. I know she's not so good at words but her action show it all. She's like an older sister, like a mother, someone that i can't live without.

*flashback*
"Hi, i'm Tiffany! Guess we'll be a roommate." Tiffany said full with excitement. well, that's just how she is.
"H-hi. I'm Taeyeon."
"Nice to meet you, Taeyeon."
"Nice to meet you too, Tippani unnie." The eyesmile girl chuckled hearing how her new friend can't pronounce her name correctly.
"Where are you come from?" Tiffany trying to make the conversation longer. She can't stand silence for too long.
"Jeonju." The shorter girl answered shortly.
"Oh, even though i don't know where is that but i assume somewhere in Korea right?"
"Yes."
"I come from Cali." Tiffany said even though no one asked her.
"W-where is that?" Now it's the turn for the shy petite girl to asked after hearing the strange name mentioned by her new friend.
"Oh, that's in US. America."
"Oh." Their first meet is kind of awkward you can say. Even the timid girl thought that her new roommate is an unnie, someone who's older than her, when in fact they are in the same age, and the timid girl is the older one among them, by few months. But who knows that will be the start of a very beautiful friendship that will last for a very very long time between the two girls.

"Fany-ah.. you know you can tell me anything right?" The shorter girl caressed her friend's hair softly. Her friend just humming in response.
"We both live faraway from our family. Maybe that's why we can understand each other better compare to the others. But i am a little bit more lucky because it only takes 4 hours by car for me to reach my home. When you need to spend so many hours in an airplane to meet them. Since we didn't always have our family by our sides, we should take the family role for each other. I will be your family, Fany-ah. I promise. And i will be so happy if you're willing to do the same for me. Let's be each other strength. Because-"
"Two is better than one." I beat her before she can finish on her words.
"*chuckles* yeah, right. That what i was going to say."
"I know. That's one of your favorite quotes. Besides, i know you know, we're the perfect two." I flashed her my eyesmile.
"Haha, that's too..right." she let out her unique ahjumma laugh.
"Thank you, Taetae. Thank you." I take her hand that still caressing my head, hold it tight in mine and put it on my chest. Simply hoping my simple gesture is enough to convey how grateful i am toward her.
And Taeyeon be the person who always keep her word, she always be there for me and be my family.

"Taeyeon-ah." I called out for my best friend. Where is she? She's not in her room. But one thing for sure, the house fairy must be somewhere in this house.
"Wait, i'm in the toilet." She yelled back. I decided to read the magazine on the table while waiting for her.
Soon i heard the sound of the door creaked open.
"Wae Fany-ah?"
"I'll be going out for magazine photoshoot. Maybe i'll be back around 8. Just ring me up if you need something."
"Okay."
"And don't forget to give Prince his food."
"Got it. Anything else madam?"
"Hm.. i think that's all for now. Don't forget to lock the door when i'm out. And eat when you're hungry."
"Yah, what do you think i am? A 5 years old kid? I can manage that."
"I just want to make sure, kiddo." I playfully said while ruffling her hair a little.
"I'll be going now." I said again and start to walk toward the door.
"Fany-ah.."
"Ne?" I halted and turn around to see her. She walks closer toward me and soon i feel her hand lightly touching my back.
"Aigoo, look, your zipper is not right, it's kind of stuck here. Look at your clumsiness." She pulled up the zipper at my back and fix it.
"T-thanks." I said stammered. Why suddenly i feel hot?
"Done." She lightly patted my back.
"Now hurry up. You shouldn't be late. Remember, image. We need to maintain the good image of our group."
"I know, leader-nim. Bye! See you later." With that i really leave our dorm and get inside our manager's black car. I remember her sweet little gesture to me earlier and soon a small smile crept on to my face.
Taeyeon to me.. i know she is the person i can rely on to. She is the person i can trust. She has earned my trust since long time ago. When the others didn't want to befriended me just because i can't really understand and speak korean at that time, just because my style, my culture is still so american while they all have strong korean culture, they decide to stay away from me. Maybe it's also because my personality. I know i can be so loud at times, i can act too friendly toward my new friend or even a stranger but that's just how my personality is. But Taeyeon despite her quietness, despite her timid personality, she still wants to be friends with someone like me who has a total opposite personality with her. She tried to understand me when i can be so hard to understand sometimes, she tried her best to make our friendship works out despite the barrier between us, our different language, culture, way of thinking and others, she still decide to stick with me, stay beside me even though most of the time it's me who have to approach her first, trying to break her shell, but at least she didn't avoid me when i'm approaching her. That's a good sign right? She accept me for who i am and finally able to see the real me. The side that i could hardly show to the others at that time. I too, finally able to see the real her. I was there witnessing her wall to start crumbling down for me. I was there to witnessing her dorky mischievous side. I really like the playful Taeyeon, but i also like the calm Taeyeon just the same. I like everything about her. And i can't ask for more when finally we can be best friends. I was there when she's down, and i'll stay there by her side until she can finally smile again. I'll do anything to put back that beautitul smile of hers on her face because i trust her, i know she will do the same for me. It's not a promise that she ever said out loud to me, but it's something i can feel, something that i have witnessed in these 11 years of our friendship. The way she takes care of me, i can feel love and care from her. Even when she scolded me for keep blurting out things without really thinking about it first, and the other nags that she used to gave me, i still can feel love and care from her. Funny isn't it? I mean i might get mad at her for keep scolding me, and others but soon i'll understand that she just meant good. She wants me to do well. Taeyeon to me, she played a big role in my life and occupied an important part in my heart. It used to be like that in the past and will always be like that.
