Kaylyn's Pov

After school, I kissed and said bye to Blake before walking out to my car. When I got to my car, I put my stuff in the back seat and closed the door. As I was walking around the car someone yelled my name. I turned around and someone punched me in the face. I fell to the ground and the person started hitting and kicking me. The pain got so bad that darkness consumed me.

When I woke up, I looked around and saw nothing. I was chained to a wall in an all concrete room. My ribs and head hurt and I just want to sleep. A door opened on the other side of the room and a man walked in. He smirked and said "I'm glad to see you're awake." I didn't say anything. He said "so I hear you're my son's mate." I looked up at him and asked "you're Blake's dad?" He nodded and said "yeah." I asked "what do you want with me?" He chuckled and said "I don't want anything from you......yet. I'm doing this to threaten my son." I glared and asked "why would you want to do that?" He paused before saying "I want my pack back." I said "well to bad. He challenged you for it and he won fair and square." He turned to me and yelled "I don't give a fuck! I want my fucking pack back and I always get what I want!" He slapped me across the face and said "you need to learn some respect for your elders." I snapped "you're not my elder." That earned another slap, and another, and another. Soon darkness surrounded me again.

Blake's Pov

When I got home, Kaylyn wasn't there and no one has seen her. I called her family and they haven't seen her either. I sent out search parties and they all came back empty handed. I'm going crazy. I need her here. There was a knock at the door and Daniel walked in. He said "Blake, you need to take a break. There is nothing you can do right now. We have warriors out searching for her. Her family is searching for her. Someone will find her and she will be back here soon. You need to take a break and rest." I yelled "I can't! She's my mate! I need her by my side! She's my other half! I can't live without her! I need her back!" Tears started to fall freely down my face at the thought of loosing her. Daniel pulled me into a man hug and said "we'll find her. I promise." I nodded and said "okay, I'll get some rest and take a break."

I walked downstairs and instantly smelled her scent. She's about a mile away. I ran out the door and into the woods. Daniel was running after me yelling my name but I wouldn't stop. I got to the lake and found her all bruised and bloodied. I pulled her into my arms and said "Kaylyn, please wake up. I need you here with me, please wake up." Daniel came up behind me and said "I'll mind link the pack doctor. You need to get her home." I nodded and looked up and saw my father at the pack boarder. Daniel growled from behind me. I said "leave him alone. We need to get Kaylyn, home."

Daniel mind linked the pack doctor after I changed her into one of my t-shirts. The pack doctor looked her over and said "she'll be fine Alpha. She'll have a headache for a couple days and she'll wake up soon." I said 'thank you." He bowed his head before leaving. Daniel walked in and asked "how is she?" I said "the doctor said that she should wake up soon and she'll have a headache for a couple of days but other than that, she should be fine." He smiled and said "that's great."

I heard Kaylyn groan. I turned around and saw her move her hand to her head. I rushed over to her and grabbed her hand. Daniel had left to give us some privacy as I smiled down at her, waiting for her to open her eyes. When she did, I whispered "hi." She sat up and wrapped her arms around me and started crying. I whispered "shhh, It's okay. Your safe now." She nodded pulled out of my arms. I touched the bruise above her eye and she winced. I whispered "sorry." She smiled and said "It's okay." I leaned down and kissed her. I said "I'm glad your back." She said "me too."
