A Much Needed Brake

Blake's Pov

Dream.......

 

Kaylyn and I were standing in the middle of a field full of wild flowers. I got down on one knee and pulled a small box out of my pocket. I opened the small box and said "Kaylyn Summerson, I love you and I will never stop loving you. Will you please marry me?" She smiled and before she could say yes someone grabbed her from behind and started pulling her away. She screamed "help me Blake!" I ran after her but I couldn't catch up.

Soon everything around me turned black. I heard evil laughing from behind me and turned around to find my father. I yelled "what did you do with Kaylyn." His laughter got louder and someone else joined in. Xavier was behind me holding my mate. She was tied up and had tape over her mouth. I ran to her but her and Xavier disappeared before I could get to her. Anger boiled up inside me as I ran towards my father. Just when I was about to jump at him he shifted and tackled me to the ground. He growled at me and went to bite my face.

End of Dream.....

 

I sat up in bed with sweat dripping down my face. I looked over and sighed in relief when I saw Kaylyn. She stirred and said "Blake?" I pulled the blankets up to her shoulders and whispered "go back to sleep." She nodded and laid her head back down.

When I was sure she was asleep, I got up and went to my office. This whole war with my father has got me stressed out. I went through all the papers on my desk over and over again. Then I started going through files about other packs. I'm sure that we're gonna win this war but it would be nice knowing we have help from other packs.

After a couple hours, Kaylyn came into my office. She looked tired and she wasn't really awake. She asked "what are you doing in here this early in the morning." I said "I couldn't sleep." She came over to me and grabbed my hand. She said "you need some rest." She pulled me over to the couch in my office and pushed me down. She laid on top of me and said "now I'll know if you try to get up." I wrapped my arms around her and closed my eyes.

We woke up later in the day but she made me lay there for a couple hours. She said "Blake, you need to take a break from all of this." I sighed and said "I know but there's so much work that needs to get done and-" I shut him up with a kiss and said "you need a break. Steven Hunt is throwing a party tonight and we're going. Okay?" I chuckled and said "okay, fine."

Kaylyn's Pov

For the party I dressed in my ripped skinny jeans, a grey and black lacy top, and flats. Tia helped me pick out the outfit. Since Steven has a pool at his house, Tia and I took our bikinis with us. When we got there, the music was loud and people were everywhere. Emmet and Cory were already there and they pulled Blake and Daniel into the kitchen to get drinks.

Tia and I smiled at each other and headed to the pool. The guys found us a little later and smiled at us. They changed into shorts they had in Blake's truck and joined us. Blake was leaning against the side of the pool with his arms around my waist. I could feel his friend poking my lower back and I couldn't help but smile. He whispered "what are you smiling about?" I turned my head to look up at him. I said "I'm smiling because of your friend." He said "he only does that when you're around." I blushed and grinded against him making him groan. I put my hand down his shorts and rubbed my thumb over the tip. He laid his head on my shoulder and whispered "you'll be the death of me one day woman." I giggled.

After a couple minutes he said "that's it." He pulled my hand out of his pants and flipped us around so my back was against the wall of the pool. I wrapped my legs around his waist and I gripped his shoulders. He grabbed my butt making me gasp. He kissed me and our tongues fought for dominance. His hand moved to the front of my bikini and he pushed one finger in my core. I moaned and pulled him closer to me. When he pulled back he said "we should probably stop before we can't." I whimpered and he said "we'll finish this later at home. I promise." I smiled at him and pecked his lips.

We got out of the pool and changed back into our clothes. We got some drinks from the kitchen and stood there talking with Daniel and Tia for a while. When Blake put down his drink and took mine away, I asked "what are you doing?" He smiled and said "dance with me." He pulled me into the crowd of sweaty people and turned me around so I was grinding on him. He started kissing my neck and nibbling on my ear making me giggle.

After awhile he said "I can't take it anymore. I need to take you home and have my way with you. Now!" I nodded with a smile on my face. He pulled me through the crowd and out the front door towards his truck. He drove us home, speeding the whole way.

When he parked his truck outside of our house, he jumped out and carried me inside and up the stairs. He threw me on our bed and removed all our clothing before turning his attention to my lips. After teasing me for a couple minutes, in one motion he was buried deep inside me.

Blake's Pov

All through the night, Kaylyn and I made love to each other. In the morning, she was laying on top of me with her head on my shoulder. I smiled and whispered "wake up Kaylyn." She smiled and said "good morning." I kissed her forehead and said "last night was a much needed brake." Kaylyn nodded her head and said "it was. We should do that more often." I agreed and said "but now, it's back to work." She groaned and said "just lay here with me for awhile longer." We laid there until I had to get up and go to my office.
