Something's wrong. {10}

Bethany's POV:

Connor and I just had.. Sex.. It was my first time. It felt amazing, but I was nervous. I didn't know what was going to happen.

"Hey babe, I'm going to go to the bathroom." Connor told me as he walked away into the small bathroom around the corner from his room.

I sat on his bed, waiting for Connor to come back into his room. About 4 minutes later, he came back and plopped down on his bed right next to me, practically on my lap.

"Jeez Con! Sit on me why don't ya?" I told Connor, jokingly.

He looked down at his phone which was in his hand, chuckling lightly.

"Sorry babe.."

"What's wrong?" I asked him.

"Oh it's nothing."

"C'mon, Connor, you can tell me anything."

"No, it's nothing Beth. Don't worry about me." He told me, kissing me on the forehead.

"Okay Connor, but if you need to tell someone anything, anything at all, please tell me."

"Babe, don't worry about me. But thanks. I.. Love you.."

"I love you Connor"

Something was wrong with Connor. He wouldn't tell me though. I'm getting very worried now.

Connor's POV:

I had just found out that my ex- girlfriend Lizzy, was coming to town. She doesn't like it when she sees her exes with other girls. I didn't know what I was going to do when I saw her. My friend, Kian, is having a party on Friday, which is in two days and I'm invited, so is Lizzy. I wanted to go do bad, but I would have to explain to Beth where I was going. I had to talk to her.

"Beth? Can I talk to you?" I asked her as I nervously walked into my room.

"Of course Connor. I told you, you can tell me anything you need to." She told me, reassuringly.

"Okay. Well, I just got a text from Kian telling me he is having a party on Friday and I'm invited. The thing is, my ex is going to be there."

The look on her face was blank.

"I'm not going." She told me, straight out.

I walked over to her. I put my fingers under her chin and lifted her chin up so I could see her beautiful face.

"Beth, I love you. I never loved her like I love you. Please come with me."

"Okay Connor, it's only because I love you though." She told me as she leaned in for a kiss. I kissed her back slowly.

"Thank you Beth. I love you."
