"Hey Char!" Shawn said walking up to my locker.
"Hey Shawn!" I said grabbing a binder out of my bag.
"Charlotte! Char-Char!" Nash and Cameron yelled as the ran up to me and Shawn clearly out of breath
"What's wrong guys? I asked
"Nick is down the hall. You need to go get him. Before he gets up here." Nash got out in between gasps of air.
"Let me grab my other binder then i'll go." I frowned
"Thanks Nash, Bye guys." I said shutting my locker, walking toward the direction Nash and Cameron had just come.
I had found Nick slumped against his locker with his baseball friends around him. I pulled the hem of my shirt down along with my sleeves trying to cover the bruises
"Charlotte babe come here!" Nick said grabbing my arm
I winced in pain, his large hand wrapped around the bruise from last night.
He got a little drunk and came to my house started fighting with me. He grabbed my arm and threw me, I ended up against the wall. Dad heard and came down,things could've gotten worse much worse. A chill ran down my spine thinking about that. I hated the way he treated me, yet there wasn't much I could do about him. Our relationship has been like this for a few months now. At the beginning he was sweet and kind but now, he's cruel and heartless, he's a monster.
The bell had finally rung signalling everyone to first period.
"Nick let's go, we gotta get to class." I said looking up at the boy who towered by a good foot
That's okay i'm good here, what about you guys?" Nick said laughed tightening his grip around my waist
Nick let me go now!" I said trying to remove myself out of his death grip
He grabbed my arm tighter pushing on the bruise from last night as he lowered himself next to my ear "You're not going anywhere until I say so." Nick said growled letting go of my arm, moving his hand down to interlock our fingers
'I'm going to class Nick, I'll see you at lunch." I said shakily removing my hand from his walking down the hall to class the fear of what he could do next was powerful
