I crutch my way to my locker, I leaned on my crutch messing with the stupid little dial.

"Need any help?" I turned my head to see a smirking Nick

"Why would I want help from you?" I asked turning back around

"Oh come on, let me hold your bag." He said holding his hand out.

"Go away Nick haven't you done enough to me?" I said opening my locker

"Oh come on princess, don't you miss me?" He said getting closer

"I believe she said she was okay!" A guy said

I turned to see a tall tan boy with dark hair along side a shorter paler blonde guy

"I think you should leave now." The blonde said

"If I don't what are you two gonna do?" Nick asked getting closer to the guys

"You don't want to find that out." He said smiling at me

"Nick just leave! You always have to cause something!" I said grabbing my books

"Fine but i'll see you after school." He said walking away

"Thank you! I said turning to the two guys

"It's no problem! My name is Jack. The darker kid said

"My name is Jack." The blonde said

"Wait you both are named jack?" I asked

"Yeah but I go by Gilinsky or Jack but I prefer Gilinsky." The taller Jack said

"I go by Johnson." He said smiling

"Okay that makes things less confusing." I said laughing "I'm Charlotte! My friends call me Char or Char-Char I honestly don't care which you call me."

"So who was that guy Nick? I think you said." Gilinsky said

"Yeah Nick, He's my ex-boyfriend an abusive one at that." I said

Oh i'm sorry. What class are you going to?" Johnson said pulling out a piece of paper

"English with Ms.Fontez." I said shutting my locker

"I'm going that way. i'll see you later Johnson." Gilinsky said

"Bye Johnson!" I said crutching away, I turned to Gilinsky "So did you guys just move here?" I asked

"Yeah we use to be in Nebraska but here we are!" He said laughing

"Yeah, there isn't much exciting here." I said making my way to my desk.

"What class do you have next?" He asked looking down at his schedule

"History and you can sit here. Nobody sits there. I said

"I think Johnson has history next. Thank you!" He said sitting

"Yeah, what class do you have next?" I asked as the late bell rung

"Um Math I believe." He said folding up his schedule.

The Bell rung releasing us for lunch. I walked into the cafe followed by Jack and Jack. I walked over to the table as Cameron pulled out my chair.

"Thanks Cameron, Guys this is Jack and Jack." I said pointing to the guys behind me

"Jack and Jack really?" Nash said laughing

"I go by Gilinsky and he goes by Johnson." Gilinsky explained to Nash and Cameron

"You guys can sit here if you want." Nash said motioning to the chairs beside me and cameron

"Have you seen Shawn yet today Char?" Cameron asked

"No have you guys?" I said looking at the lunch line

"No not since third period." Cameron said checking his phone

"Nash will you buy me lunch? Please I'll pay you back!" I said looking at the older boy across from me

"Yeah what do you want?" He said standing up.

"Um sub with a fry and a coke please." I smiled

"Okay and don't worry about paying me back." He said walking away

"Shawn went home early." Cameron said locking his phone.

"How do you know?" I asked

"Well you see i texted him and asked." Cameron said taking a sip of his water

"Oh, did he say why?" I asked digging my phone out of my back pocket

"No he didn't, do you know why?" Cameron asked

"Here you go." Nash said sitting the tray in front of me.

"Thanks Nash you're the best." I said turning from Cam

"It's not problem and no what?" Nash asked

"Why Shawn went home early." Cameron said looking at Nash

"Maybe it's because of me." I said picking up a french fry

"Char what happened over the weekend?" Nash said looking at me

"He kinda kissed me." I said really quiet

"He what?" Cameron said choking

"He kissed me happy? I said opening my coke

"How did you take that?" Cameron asked unlocking his phone

"I kinda freaked out, sent him home,and ignored his texts " I said lowering my head

"Charlotte! Are you serious!" Nash said grabbing my phone

"Nash what are you doing?" I asked

"Fixing your stupid mistake!" He said getting up and walking away.
