"So you're okay?" Shawn asked leaning up against the lockers

"Yeah i'm fine I said leaning on my crutch to open my locker.

"I'll meet you at lunch okay?" He said kissing the top of my head

"I'm fine, go shawn you're gonna be late! I said pushing his shoulder

"Okay okay i'm going!" He said laughing disappearing down the hall

"So what's up with you and Shawn huh?" I turned around to see Nick standing there

"What do you want Nick?" I asked my words filled with hate

"Oh nothing." he said getting closer "I can't talk with my beautiful girlfriend?"

"I'm not your girlfriend! I never was! All I was to you was a damn rag doll that you threw around when you were drunk or angry and i'm done being that toy Nick!" I said slamming my locker

"Aw is the poor damaged girl finally sticking up for herself?" Nick said getting to close for my liking

"Mr.Anderson leave that poor girl alone and get to class! Don't make me write you up" I heard some teacher yell down the hall

"I'm not done with you!" He said getting in my face before walking away

" slid my bag on my shoulder and crutched down the hall to class

The bell had finally for lunch, who knew crutching yourself around all day would make you so hungry.

"Hey you want me to get you lunch? Nash asked

"Yeah sure um just a sub and a coke is good. Thanks Nash!" I said as he walked into the line

"Hey Charlotte right?" A girl walked up to me

"Yeah and you are?" I asked confused

"My name Is Carmen." She smiled

"Oh Hi Carmen, not to be rude but why are you talking to me?" I asked

"Just wanted to see how you are doing." She said looking down at her phone

"Oh okay i'm doing fine I guess. I think i'm gonna go sit now my arms are tired." I said

"Okay see you later Charlotte." She said walking away

"Who was that?" Shawn asked pulling out my chair next to him

"Some girl named Carmen, she seems weird." I laughed

"Here ya go Char-char!" Nash said setting my tray in front of me

"Did you use my account?" I asked putting my crutches against the table

"No I bought you lunch!" Nash said smiling!

I smacked his shoulder "You did not Grier! I should be buying you lunch!"

"Nah it's all good!" He smiled stealing a fry off of Cameron's tray

"Hey get your own fries!" Cameron said pushing his tray away from Nash

"Anyway what do you guys think Chawn or Charlin? I asked

"What are those?" Shawn asked

"Our ship names!" I smiled

"I like Chawn!" Shawn said taking a bite out of his sandwich

I layed my head on his shoulder " Chawn moment!"

"AW! so cute!" Cameron yelled

"Goals for life!" Nash laughed mocking a white girl

"Okay Shawn drive me home!" I said crutching down the stone steps

"Let's go princess! " He said laughing

"I'm hungry!" I whined as I got into the car

"You just ate!" Shawn laughed starting his car

"I know but when aren't I hungry?" I laughed propping my leg up on the dashboard

Shawn turned on the Radio Sweater weather came on. He quickly switched it off.

"Last time that song was on we ended up in the hospital!" He said

"oh stop Shawn I love this song!" I said turning the radio back on

We finally got to my house as shawn parked where my truck would've went.

"Here let me help you!"Shawn said grabbing my crutches and helping me up out of the car.

He grabbed my hands and pulled me up out of the car close to him our bodies touching

without warning our lips touched.
