Chapter 2

Marenette's/ Ladybugs POV:

I jumped on my bed and relaxed. Today was good. Tikki flew out of my bag and sat on my head. "You seem in a good mood." She giggled. I nodded. "Yes, because I'll be working with Adrien plus there was no one akumatized today!". I said happily. Tikki smiled. Suddenly I heard a voice.

"Chloe! Where are you?! I am here for you!" I stood up. It was an akumatized student of our school. Chloe must be the reason AGAIN. I sighed. "Tikki, spots on!" I shouted. When I was transformed, I jumped out of my window.

I saw the akumatized civilian. I got closer to her. It was Juleka. I tried to pull her down but she was too tall. She pushed me and I fell. Where was that Cat?!

Chat Noir suddenly appeared. "You're late!" I growled. He scratched the back of his head. "Sorry, My lady. I... um... had a... oh I give up. It's nothing." He said. I giggled.

We defeated the Akumatized Juleka. I got her home with Chat. I looked at the Time. I sighed. 4:00 pm. I had just got back from school and someone was akumatized. It irritated me. I was tired of having a double life. Plus, I didn't even get any credit. I couldn't get a chance with Adrien!

"Is there something wrong, My lady?" Chat startled me. I shook my head. "No. It's nothing." I replied. He raised his eyebrow. "Really?" I nodded. "Yes! Of course. What could be wrong?" I lied.

"You know, my lady." He started. "You're a terrible liar." It was true. "You don't have to tell me that!" I snapped. "Anyways, what's wrong?" He asked again. I gave up. Besides, he must feel the same. He must also be tired of having a double life. But, then where on earth did he find so much energy?

"Well, it's just that I am tired. I have a busy day everyday and that stupid Hawkmoth just akumatizes anyone, Amy time he wants!" I started complaining. I didn't even notice it. I kept on saying bad words to Hawkmoth. I had a right you know. It's not easy being a 15 year old super hero...

Chat Noir/ Adrien's POV:

I was trying to control my laughter. Ladybug was across childish. "If he has so much free time, he should consider us. Sometimes! It wouldn't hurt him!" She scolded. She was going on and on. It kind of reminded me of Marenette with Alya.

I would sometimes hear Marenette complaining to Alya about Chloe, her parents and school. Anyways, I thought it was time to go home. Natalie would be worried by now. I put a finger on Ladybugs lips. She stopped talking and scowled at me.

"Stop it, my lady. You don't look nice when you're angry." I said. I took my finger off her lips. She folded her arms over her chest. "You know," she started. "I would've stopped myself. You don't have to do that." She didn't snap. She said it calmly.

I guessed she was too tired to talk that much. I was also very tired. She wasn't the only one. I also studied in school and was a model plus a super hero. "We should go. My parents would be worried by now." Ladybug accidentally said.

"Ooh." I teased taking interest. It would be great if I found out who Ladybug was. "What do your parents do?" I asked. Ladybugs face was red. "N-nothing." She stammered. I laughed. "Stop laughing!" She ordered me still being red. It only made me laugh harder. She scowled.

It was so much fun watching her being red. "I am going." She said. "What if I followed you? Secretly." I said. She smirked at me. "Dare to try?" "Okay, okay. I won't." I gave up. Ladybug was just too smart. She would easily find out that I am following her. "Okay! Bye." She said and jumped off.

"Wait." I tried to stop her but it was too late. She was already gone. Suddenly I transformed back into Adrien. I was too busy with Ladybug that I hadn't noticed my ring. Plagg flew out and I caught him. I turned to go to my house.

"Aww. Can't my cheese come first?" Plagg moaned. I rolled my eyes. "Please, Plagg not now. Someone might spot me. I shoved Plagg into my jacket. I ran to my house...
