Chapter 13

🐱Adrien's POV🐱

Marinette and I were walking towards the huge hall. "Oh my God! It's huge!!" Marinette exclaimed. I smiled at her. "Adrien, where's your miraculous?" She asked me, eying my hand.

I explained everything to her. Her eyes widened. "Adrien, you should've at least keep it with you!! Who knows what'll happen!! Come on! We need to get it." She grabbed my hand and we both ran to the hall.

"Natalie!! Where's my ring?" I asked her as soon as we got to her. Natalie frowned. "Your father took it from me and told me he would give it to you." She told me. My eyes widened with shock.

"There's something fishy here." Marinette said. "Yeah, why would father take the miraculous?"

I spotted Ada. "Adeline!! Come over here for a minute." I called to her. She smiled to Marinette and walked towards us. "Whoa! This dress looks amazing!!" Mari told Ada. "Guys, this is no time for compliments. Something's wrong here." I said.

"Mr. Agreste took Adrien's miraculous without telling us." Marinette explained. Ada nodded, but she wasn't shocked. She took a deep breath. "Guess I'll have to tell you. Come with me. I want to talk to you both in private.

We followed her. "Look, guys. Dad is actually Hawkmoth." She said but before she could even say anything more, both of us shouted "WHAT!?"

Ada scowled at us and put a finger on her lips. "Shush! Anyways, I made a plan to arrest dad. He would take both of your miraculous, so both of you don't come to help. And I would transform with Nuru and become a good hawkmoth. Nuru and I can easily defeat dad." She stopped talking.

"But, it's not fair on you. We are the saviors of Paris. It's our duty. I can transform with Nuru." I told her. Marinette nodded. "He's right," she agreed.

"That's not it. Both of you are already miraculous holders. You cannot transform with someone else's Kawami. Me, on the other hand, I'm not a miraculous holder. I can transform with anyone's Kawami. Just like the time, I transformed into a female chat noir." Ada explained.

"But, I'll help you. I have my miraculous with me." Marinette said. Ada nodded. "But, I'm sure there's no need."

"Everyone, welcome to this grand party. Please welcome my son, Adrien and my daughter, Adeline Agreste to the stage." I heard dad's voice say. Ada and I walked towards the stage.

"Good luck." Marinette whispered. I Smiled at her. She looked so good in her dress. "Hey, love bird. We're on the stage. Stop staring at Mari." Ada knocked on my head with her hand.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Adeline Agreste." Ada bowed a bit. "Good evening. I'm Adrien Agreste." I said.

Dad started his speech. I spotted my miraculous on my Father's hand. Ugh! It's not fair that I have to stay back and not fight.

"Thank you." Dad finished his speech. Everyone applauded.

Ada, me and dad walked away from the stage. "Where's Marinette?" Dad asked me. I took him towards Marinette. "My god! What a lovely young lady." Dad said. He was acting too cheerful.

"I hope everything goes well today." I whispered to myself
