Another Agreste!

Chapter 3

Marenette's POV:

I had forgotten about the project. I was busy fighting the Akuma. "What do I do now!?" I moaned. Tikki flew up to me. "Don't worry, Marenette. I am sure they would understand that you were VERY busy." Tikki smiled.

"I guess, you're right. Besides, Adrien is too kind. He won't scold me or anything. And Nathaniel is too shy." I said bringing my hopes up. Tikki laughed. "I guess so." I looked out of the window.

I went up to my desk and decided to do my homework...
When I was finished, I received a message from Alya.

From Alya : "What are you doing, girl? 😵😵. "

Alya was probably feeling bored.

From Marenette: "Nothing. What about you?"

From Alya: "Feeling bored. Let's meet up! Missing you."

I liked the idea. Besides, No Akuma now. No homework. Nothing!

From Marenette: "Great idea. Where?"

From Alya: "What about the park?"

From Marenette: "It's almost dark!"

From Alya: "That's okay, right?

From Marenette: "I guess so."

Alya would've gotten the message. I quickly got up and took my bag. Tikki flew in it. "Where are we going?" She asked me in her cute little voice. "The park." I replied.

I ran out of the house. "Mom, I'll be back in a few hours." I said as I was leaving. "Don't be late, dear." Mom shouted and I nodded. I ran out of the house and turned to where the park was. It was getting dark.

While running, I bumped into someone (as usual). The person fell down. I helped her get up. "Oh! I am so sorry! I wasn't looking." I apologized to her. She stood up and I saw her face. My eyes grew wider and my jaw fell open.

She was... a girl version of ADRIEN AGRESTE!!! literally! She had green eyes exactly like him. The same hair color. The only difference was she was a girl and she had long hair. I was gawking. "You must be Marenette!" The girl squealed. How did she know my name?

"Uuuh, yeah. I am Marenette. How did you know?" I said still looking at her pretty face. "That's not important. Can we please set down and talk?" She asked. I was supposed to meet Alya. I was going to say "sorry" when my phone rang. I took it out and saw Alya's name flashed on the screen.

"Could you please wait?" I asked the girl politely. She nodded. I picked up the call. "Where are you, girl? Are you at the park?" Alya asked. "I am on my way. I just got out of the house." I told her. "Thank God! It seems like I can't come! My little sister is crying for me to make her something and watch a movie with her. Sorry, girl. I promise I'll make it up to you." Alya sighed. I was relieved.

"No problem." I said and she said "Thanks. Good-bye." And ended the call. "Now, can we sit and talk?" The girl asked. I nodded. "Sorry. It was an important call." I said. "No worries." She smiled at me. It was a charming smile. Just like Adrien's.

We both went inside a little cafeteria. She sat down in front of me. "Let me introduce myself first." The girl started. "My name is Adeline. I live in the Agreste mansion and my father is Gabriel Agreste. Uuuh, what happened?" She asked me. I was almost going to faint. She is an Agreste?!

I can't believe this! This is impossible, right? How come Adrien never mentioned her?!

"Impossible... Agreste... Adrien." I said still spacing out. Ada put a finger on my mouth. "Shush. It was a secret. You can't say that out loud." She Laughed. I nodded. She started eating her burger. It was a signal for me to say something.

"Sooo. Why are you telling me this?" I asked her. She looked at me, her mouth filled with burger. "Well, that's because I am a BUG fan of you!" She Laughed. It was a pun. She sounded so much like Chat Noir for some reason. Wild and funny.

I raised an eyebrow. "My fan?" I asked. That's impossible right. Unless! She knows that I am Ladybug!!! That's also impossible! Not even Alya knows! "Yep!" She smiled widely.

"But I am just a normal, clumsy and unlucky girl." I sighed. "Cute too. Actually, VERY cute. Your eyes! I love them. Eyes like heaven and your lips. Their sooo pink and babyish!" She daydreamed. What! I was cute? "And your dark blue pigtails. Don't get me started on that." She added. I was shocked. I was nowhere even close to her beauty! She was like a dream. Just like Adrien.

"But, you still don't know me." I said. How could she even know About me? Sure, I was on TV with my uncle and on Jagged Stone's poster but that was a long time ago. "Who doesn't know about the Savior of Paris?" She whispered so no one could hear her. "What?! How do you know?!!!" I shouted. Everyone stared at me.

"He he. Sorry." I said to them putting my hand behind my head. They didn't even glance at me for the second time and just continued what they were doing.

"So, how do you know?" I whispered this time. She winked at me and said "That's a secret. Besides, I don't LOVE Ladybug. I Love you. Marenette." I looked at her. She was so sweet. " Thank you. Anyways, do you know about Adrien Agreste?" I asked when the question hit me. "Puh! Of course I do. He's my twin brother." She rolled her eyes.

Wow! This is the greatest day of my life! I know about Adrien's sister. Not just sister but a TWIN sister. I was getting so excited. Plus, she knew that I was Ladybug. She might even know who Chat Noir is. To be true, I was very curious about Chat's identity.

"Then why don't you go to the same school as him?" I asked. She turned a bit down. She looked at her plate. "Father. He didn't let me." She sighed. Oh yeah. Gabriel was a very strict father. I remember the time when Nino was akumatized. He turned into bubbler because Adrien's father didn't let Adrien have a birthday party.

"I am sorry. I didn't mean to make you feel down." I apologized. Her face lit up. "No worries. Besides, I like being father's favorite. Maybe someday, he might let me do what I want." She smiled cheerfully. I could see it in her eyes. She was sad. Wait, "father's favorite?" She was her father's favorite. Maybe, because she doesn't argue with him.

Anyways, I shouldn't put my nose in others business. "Ummm. I should go. Father might be getting worried. I didn't tell him that I was going outside. " Ada said. I nodded. "Me too. It's getting dark. Hey. You can't go alone. Something might happen." I said. "I'll come with you. A girl shouldn't be walking alone in the night." I offered.

"But you're also a girl. How will you go back home alone in the night?" She giggled. "That's not a problem for me. I am Ladybug after all." I winked at her. She giggled again.

So, later that night, I walked with her to the mansion. It was a long walk but it was fun. We chatted all the way along. Looks like, I have got a third best friend on my list. She wasn't like Adrien. She was Chat Noir. Wild. Adrien was sweet and kind. He was a gentleman. She was also sweet and kind bit she wasn't... like Adrien. She was strong and brave. Like Ladybug...
