Me and Nik got a phone call from Stefan a few hours ago saying that Mikael was daggered. Even though Bekah confirmed I still feel like they're doing something, planning something. "They're lying about something Nik I can feel it". He nodded in understanding feeling it to. We came up the plan to play along but to be careful so here we are inside the Lockwood house up on stage.

Right now we are talking to Elena which I know is really Katerina because she's scarred of me and finches every time my hand goes anywhere near my boot. Nik noticed too and raised an eyebrow at me. I grabbed his hand tracing Katherines name into his palm. He took another glance at her and sniffed the air slightly. He gave me a worried glance when he smelt Mikael but I calmed him down by rubbing my thumb over his knuckles. We saw Stefan approach and excused ourselves. I ignored Stefan listening as Mikael compelled our hybrids. Once Stefan left I wrote down what I had heard so Nik would know. I showed him the paper that said "Mikaels here and is compelling our hybrids, Katherine is playing Elena cause they don't want her hurt, and we need to play along so that means we act unknowingly, scared, and angry". He read over it and smiled at me letting me know he had a plan.

We split up after that him going to get a drink and me going to dance. Once he had gotten us drinks and made sure the music was loud enough so no one could hear us while we danced and talked he joined me. I took a sip from my glass as Nik did the same. Once our drinks were gone we started dancing making sure our bodies were pressed close together so we could hear and not have to speak to loud. He put his mouth close to my ear and wispered "we need to work together. You distract him because well you're you and tend to draw attention I mean look around us, and because he won't expect you to be here with me. Anyways you distract while I set up a diversion and maybe convince Stefan to help us by promising his freedom. Then since you already have a white oak stake you can use it to kill him while I get the one he has and sneak it to you to replace the one you have and no one can use it on us" to me. I thought over it for a minute before realising the flaw in his plan and turned so I was facing him my lips brushing his ear as I spoke. "Not only will he be expecting it he will be prepared for it at least everything except for Stefan helping us. If he can suprise him and get him to the ground I can stake him he won't expect that either. We need to work together of course but we got to split up. So I want you to lure him out get him to attack you because even though he hates what I am he still looks at me as his daughter but you he looks at as nothing more than the child his wife had with another man. He hates you Nik he'd kill you before he'd even think of hurting me. Once he attacks in comes Stefan, who will do anything to get his freedom. Once Stefan gets him away from you and down I come in and stake him which he won't expect because he was the closest thing I had to a father growing up, Esther a mother yes I had my parents but they were never my parents". He thought it over for a minute realizing that what I said was true. He nodded kissing my cheek and we broke apart. As we separated I noticed how everyone was staring at us. I took a sarcastic and dramatic bow with Nik. Everyone laughed at us and we joined along with it.

I watched Nik walk away me still dancing. It was time for our plan to take action. I had talked to Stefan earlier and he agreed to help if I promised his freedom. I hesitantly gave my word, which I always keep, and told him what he needed to do. He provoked Mikael who stabbed Katherine after Nik yelled for him to do it tears slowly leaving his eyes. He was playing his part amazingly but I could tell he was faking it and that the tears were crocodile tears, Mikael who never bothered to learn anything about his son couldn't though. I watched as Mikael attacked but Stefan knocked him to the floor. Now it was my turn. I vamp speed over, grabbing the stake that was thrown to the floor when Stefan pushed him away, and plunged it into his heart not even bothering to stop and think about it or grab the stake from my boot. I watched as his body burned to ash with tears in my eyes. Nik came over rapping his arms around me as I cried into his shoulder. Damon, Stefan, Katherine, and Caroline were watching us but we didn't care. I composed myself and wispered "at least we're safe now. He can't hurt any of us anymore no one can". He nodded with a small sad smile on his face as he wiped away a tear from my cheek with his thumb. I gave a thankful smile and we left.

When we got home we both went to the basement. I sat down on the couch while Nik turned on the TV. He sat down next to me pulling my feet up and into his lap. He grabbed the blanket that I had set on the back of the couch and through it over us. I switched positions so that my head was laying in his lap instead of my feet. While we watched the movie he started playing with my hair. When the movie ended and neither of us moved we both looked at each other. He could see that something was bothering me and turned off the TV. "What's wrong lily"? I watched him for a couple of seconds before I told him "I just miss our family Nik. I mean I haven't seen Finn in over nine hundred years, Kol for over a century, Esther since the morning after we turned, and I just killed Mikael with his own weapon. Do you think we can undagger them now that Mikaels dead and we are all safe or should we wait?". He looked at me with an understanding look knowing how I felt because he felt it too. He nodded his head and wispered "I miss them too lily and I'd very much like to undagger our family but I think we should bring them home before we do. So in the morning we can go to the storage unit in Chicago and retrieve their bodies. We will bring them here where we will pull out their daggers. I'll even let you take out Kols, Elijahs, and Finns by yourself". I nodded but said "you do know that Rebekah is daggered and at the Salvatore boarding house right so we can't undagger anyone until we're all together". He smiled and gave a slight wave of the hand dismissing my worries. "I'll take care of it lily, I know, and you don't need to worry about it you need to get some sleep". I closed my eyes causing him to laugh and pick me up before before taking me to my room where he laid me down in my bed and pulled my covers up to my shoulders. "Goodnight Nik I love you". "Goodnight Lily I love you too".
