"You can open your eyes now." I tapped Harry and he shook his head. "I only said to close them as a joke." I pleaded. "We're here anyways, if you want you can keep your eyes closed and not see it."

After a few hours spent with my family we both snuck away, I told him where I was taking him would be a surprise and he has been giddy ever since.

We both resembled marshmallows, wearing way too much clothing since I knew the weather would be dreadful.

"You fool, open your eyes." I crossed over to his seat and shook his shoulders making him finally oblige.

"Where are we?" He asked, blinking a few times. From where we were sat all you could see were a few other cars and too much snow covering all of the ground, like small mountains.

"Come on." I took his hand in mine.

We walked closer and Harry's eyes widened.

"Holy cow!" I laughed at his replacement of the curse word.

We were at the edge now, looking towards Niagara Falls. Most of it was frozen from the cold weather but a large chunk of the falls was still releasing water causing mist to blow everywhere.

"Are you serious?" He looked at me then back at the view, completely in awe.

I recalled the day after we met, when we went to get coffee and he said he wanted me to take him here. I complained that we were strangers, following with him claiming we could change that. It was mind boggling how long ago that seemed, but here we were at Niagara falls and I was so content that we did change that.

I bet this is how he felt when he took me to the office with the glass window and in Central Park, where I was out of words.

"This is sick!" He yelled over the loud noise of the water.

I purposively waited until now to take him here since it was near dusk, lights would soon be illuminating the water.

He walked closer and almost slipped on the ground, making the both of us burst out laughing.

"That's Canada over there" I projected by voice so he could hear.

"I love Canada!" He was excited like a little kid in a toy store.

We waited at the edge, talking about the breathtaking view in front of us.

It was impossible to see the water hitting down because of the white mist coming from the impact. A blanket of snow covered every rock and surface that we could see, and the trees looked like large icicles.

Once it was dark enough the lights began to reflect off the moving water.

"This is truly incredible!"

His breath was coming out as a cloud of mist, he looked so cold but not bothered at all by it. I watched him instead of the show below us, seeing him smile and the way his dimples paved into his cheeks was oddly satisfying.

His face cleared of any emotion and he was suddenly staring out blankly. I could see his lips moving briefly but couldn't hear what he said.

"What?" I yelled at him.

He reached his hand out to me and pulled me into him, kissing me passionately.
