Chapter 2

Blaze looked around the homeroom but he couldn't seem to find Scarlet anywhere. Unnecessary panic began to fill up his lungs and he thought he was finding difficulty to breathe for a second. But the truth is, he's just worried about her. What could've happened? Could she have gotten into some sort of trouble? Or was she just late for class? Did she even come to school today? Blaze had set his mind that if she doesn't come in 3 minutes, she's late for class and if she didn't come at all, she's absent. He figured that she probably would not get into trouble because she is decent. She just wasn't those type of people who would get into trouble. 'Cos shes perfect. Blaze had to keep reminding himself to try not to fall in love with her. Even though he already did.

Flashbacks of the day before filled his mind. The image of how the lovegrass looked tucked behind her ear. She looked like a goddess.

But he knew he had to keep his mind off her. At least a little bit.

Courting her would be hard, but Blaze is those type of guys that are just up for challenges. He's willing to take the dare. He might even end up with a broken heart, but its better then not trying.

Meanwhile in Teresa's Orphanage, Scarlet was tossing and turning on her bed. She felt that something was not right, she could feel it, but just couldn't point it out successfully. Was it Blaze? Was he missing her already? No, perhaps not. Maybe he was just toying with her the day before. Maybe the lovegrass didn't hold a single meaning to it. She hoped she was wrong but she just couldn't stop thinking about him. Her mind went wild for a minute and she recollected herself. She tried to think of something else, and that's Rose.

Flashbacks of last night played in her mind incessantly. How Rose hugged everyone and how everyone cried. Some held tears of joy whereas some held tears of sadness. They couldn't decide what tears to hold... Foxy, you're the best sister I could ever ask for! Here, I made this doll for you. Thank you for letting me play with Payton although I'm a little bit violent. I'll never forget all the memories we had shared. A single drop of tear fell onto Scarlet's shirt as she thought of what she said. She remembered herself taking Payton and saying, here Rosie, I don't have anything much to give you. I hope you like Payton. Yes. She gave Payton away.

She was actually happy she did. Because it showed that she had finally stepped out of the 'doll addiction'. And she was proud of herself. She smiled to herself and thought, little things that happened in my life, are things I'll never forget.
