Chapter 7

It was really nice watching the movie at your house, I mean, your house is really big and yeah. It's really nice... Scarlet tried to say without stuttering but failed to. She smiled to herself at the change of plans. They were supposed to go to the mall but Scarlet insisted on watching a movie because its free. He smiled and walked towards the television console to retrieve the Hunger Games DVD from the DVD player. He carefully placed the DVD back into the packaging that it came with and took his laptop with him. It's early, only 8.03, can you stay? It's weird how that question would have two totally different meaning; one being the innocent, can you stay? And two being the can you stay heartbreaking question.

Yes I can... haha. Scarlet was nervous and she doesn't even know why. He typed in the URL of the website he was about to visit. Scarlet peered towards the screen, it said wattpad.com. Weird, she thought.

He then logged into an orange page with story suggestions and some different stories that was in his library. I wrote some poems, last time, uhm..

He writes? Poems?! Unbelievable! Other cute guys like him would rather go skateboarding than racking their brains and writing poems! He continued to talk but she wasn't even listening. She looked closer to the screen and saw the user name, suicidalblaze.

Scarlet tried reading it but Blaze hastily slammed the cover of his notebook back down. You didn't see anything. He said. But she did. She saw something. And she's going to see everything tonight. She did not know why Blaze suddenly became so fierce but it's not like she even cared. What's wrong with you! You tried showing it to me first! She said with much annoyance.

Forget that I said she didn't care.

It's just, I'm not ready to show you... Uhm... he stuttered but Scarlet just smiled. Fine, it's fine. Wait, uhm it's 8.30 already? I'm going home... See you tomorrow. She said and she got up from the floor and made her way to the door. Blaze walked back home with her and when they finally reached the door, it was so awkward Scarlet almost peed in her pants.

We're here. She said with a smile.

Yes we are. He continued.

So this is goodbye? She asked.

Yes it is. He said.

Okay.

Okay...

This is awkward and I'm going home. Good night. She said and walked through the gate and into the house. She looked back and Blaze was... blushing.

I'm so going to wattpad.com and search his username up. Ugh. She thought as she typed the URL and the peculiar orange page appeared.
