Part 4- Adoption & Chapter 3- She's an orphan?

I can't believe it!

Today a couple came in, saying that they're here to adopt kids. I thought kids are children ranging from 6 year old to 12. I'm already 15, how can I still be a KID?! YES, YOU GUESSED RIGHT, I'M ABOUT TO GET ADOPTED! I'm not really sure how I feel about this... I will miss Aubee and Estra espacially. And all the other people at the orphanage. :( But isn't a family always what I wanted? I still remembered that when I was a kid, I would pray all day all night that some family would come and adopt me. But now I stopped as I was just getting OLDER. And this news had made such a huge impact on me. I'm a little bit happy and excited. I heard from Aubee that the couples were called.. what did she call them again? Oh! They were called the Richardsteins. Yep, they didn't have any children and they were quite old so that's why they chose me.

I remembered Estra crying after that. I was a wee bit relieved that I wouldn't need to be hiding my diary away from her... But I'd rather have her searching high and low for my diary than to leave her alone. :( I feel terrible now.

Well, today, at lunchtime, Blaze finally spoke to me like, as if he knew me for a long time. It was quite nice actually. He cracked some funny jokes that made my sides hurt. Looks like this relationship thing is finally having some improvements! :D

Ooops, I'll be leaving tomorrow so I have to go pack up now. And cry about this!

Chapter 3

The Richardsteins made their way home, chatting happily about this peculiar girl they were about to welcome into their family tomorrow. Isn't she beautiful? Mrs Richardsteins said to her husband, who's currently smiling. Yes, yes she is. She's just perfect. I can't believe we're finally going to have a child in our house. He looked up at his wife, only to see her approximately a metre away. He sighed and gave a silly smile that no one could see. Blaze was standing there and she was telling him about the girl, what's her name again? Scarlet Fox. Ah yes, Scarlet Fox. What a special and unique name. Really? I'm happy for you! What's her name? Blaze asked. Scarlet Fox, isn't the name beautiful? Mr Richardsteins cutted in. Blaze's mind hurriedly shifted to the girl whom he talked to about 3 hours ago. Scarlet Fox? he heard himself question. Yes, her. A 15 year old red-head. That made a confirmation to Blaze that it is her; the perfect red-head with a middle name that's Fox. Matches perfectly, don't you think? But wait, she's an orphan?

That's something he didn't know. She seemed so cheerful, not like how other orphans would act. Intriguing. He said to himself. He bade the Richardsteins goodbye as he walked into his oversized house. It was empty as usual. No one inside, no one outside. Scarlet Fox? Moving in tomorrow. Living near my oversized house. Things could get interesting. He said inaudibly to himself as he showed a cocky but cute smirk.
