Chapter 4

Naruto's POV
Me and Naomi were about to go eat ramen when Iruka-sensei forced me to go clean the mountains. We were walking to the mountains an I noticed that Naomi was following us. I turned around to her and asked,
"Naomi why are you following us?" She pulled out her notebook and started writing. She turned it around and it read,
'I thought I would tag along and help you.'
I looked at her in confusion,"You don't have to."
'But I want to.'
I sighed in defeat and nodded my head. We were all on the mountain while me and Naomi were cleaning Iruka-sensei was yelling at us.
"You cannot leave until everything is clean!"
"It's not like I got anybody at home waiting for me!" I yelled back.
Naomi's POV
I looked at Naruto with a sad eye. I'm guessing Iruka did too cause he said that he would treat us to ramen after this. Naruto looked so motivated. I softly giggled. Once we finished we headed to Ichiraku's Ramen. I had one bowl while Naruto had 20 and was still eating. I heard Lord Hokage's messenger hawk so I decided to leave early.
I tapped on Naruto's shoulder and showed him my notebook. ' Hey I have to leave early. I'll see you tomorrow! ;)'
"Aw okay Naomi. I'll see you tomorrow and I'll pass that test and graduate! Believe it!" He said and grinned at me. I softly smiled behind my mask and waved to Iruka-sensei and he nodded in reply. I walked out and then teleported to the Hokage's office and kneel immediately.
"Ah hello Naomi. I'm glad you could make it. I have a mission for you and I'm sorry that it's last minute but you're the only one who can do the job. I need you to go into the Land of Waves and collect some information of a ninja who had murdered 3 children. Once you have found the murderer bring him back to Konoha. You may use any techniques to bring him back but make sure to NOT kill him, understand?" He asked.
"Hai Hokage-sama." I replied softly.
"You may go now. It should not take you too long but you if you go now you may return around night fall." He said. I nodded and took the scroll. I put my ANBU mask on and headed out. I brought some supplies and sealed it into a scroll. I strapped on my fans and katanas. Once I had gone into the forest I grabbed my summoning scroll, but my thumb and swiped the blood across then did the hand signs.
"Summoning jutsu!" I yelled.
Poof!
"Hello Naomi-sama! It's nice to see you again!" Aki my summoning said while rubbing my face with his. I giggled and pet his head. Aki is the eldest of the four summonings I'm allowed to use. He is a griffin with the body of a tiger and wings like a hawk but the colors are of a tiger's body. He has a mane behind his head is brown and turquoise-blue. He has claws for his front legs and his back legs have paws. (I'm very bad at describing 😅 if you would like to see what he looks like go to the prologue and there will be a picture of her four summonings at the end.)
"Hello Aki. I need a favor from you. Do you mind flying me to the Land of Fire for a mission and back?" I asked softly. He nodded his head quickly while smiling.
"Hop on Naomi-sama and be careful." He warned me as I hopped onto his back. He jumped into the air and flew off. While we were flying I changed my appearance so I could blend in. Once we had got there Aki went back and I went and asked around. About 10 minutes later a woman had told me that a mysterious man had just bought some fruit from her and ran to the left. I thanked her and gave her a bit of money. I ran to the left and caught sent that was at the fruit shop. I ran and ran and ran until I stopped in the middle of nowhere. I couldn't track the scent anywhere. I grabbed my flute and started playing. (Link above!) About a minute later a man wearing dark blue shorts and a black shirt. He had a sword on his back and was walking towards me. Whenever I play the flute I add chakra to it so that it kind of releases my kekkai genkai, I basically control them with my music. (Other secrets will be told late in the book!) When I don't add chakra it's a regular flute. It was going well until 2 other guys jumped out and attacked me. I put my flute away and and jumped back in attack stance. They ran towards me and pulled my katanas from their sheaths and blocked both attacks. I jumped up and kicked both of them in the face. I saw the both of them make hand signs and they were exactly the same.
"Water Release: Bullet Technique!" (I forgot what that jutsu was called so I kinda guessed..)
Water droplets formed in the air and headed towards me. I put my katanas back and made hand signs.
"Wind Release: Cutting Edge!" I grabbed both of my fans opened them and sent big blasts of air back at them that also sent invisible wind blades.
"AHH!!!" They both screamed as the blades cut their skin. I put my fans back and teleported behind them and hit the back of their necks. They both fell unconscious and I looked over to the other guy. He was starting to wake up so I hit the back of his neck too. I made hand signs for my summonings and instead of summoning one, I summoned two.
Poof!
Aki and Sakiko had poofed in front of me. Sakiko was the third one of the four. She looks just like Aki but her fur is a darker brown. (Again sorry for the bad descriptions 😭 the picture is the prologue chapter) Unlike Aki, who was energetic, she was a shy and nervous.
"H-Hello N-Naomi-sama." She greeted and gently rubbed her face against mine.
"Hello Sakiko. It's nice to see you. Would you mind doing me a favor please?" I gently asked her.
"S-Sure thing!" She replied.
"I need you to carry these two back to Konoha while I take the other one and ride with Aki." I explained. She nodded and I picked the two guys up and put them on her back. I summoned a strap and strapped them to her back so they wouldn't fall off. I grabbed the other guy and put him in front of me while I sat on Aki's back. They both jumped and flew back to the village. They dropped me and the three guys off at the Hokage's office and pooped away. I had to drag all three of them into his office. I walked in with my ANBU mask on and kneeled in front of him.
"Lord Hokage I have returned from the mission. May I say it was fairly easy, but there were three guys instead of one." I told him.
He nodded and said,"Good job Naomi. I'll send some other ANBU to lock them away. You may go home and rest." I nodded and teleported home. I took off my clothes and took a shower. When I was done I put some clothes on and use my fan to help dry my hair by adding a bit of chakra to it then brushed my hair. When I was finished I walked downstairs expecting Kaka-Baka to be there but he wasn't. I walked into the kitchen and found a note.
'Hey Imouto. I'm off on a mission right now and I'll be back a little bit after night fall. You know how to cook right? I have some ingredients in the fridge for you.'
I walked to the fridge and grab the ingredients I need to make some beef curry. Once I had finished I had put some rice on half of the plate and poured some of the curry on the other side. I left some curry left for Kaka-baka and ate mine. Once I was finished I wrapped Kaka-baka's and went upstairs. I brushed my teeth and went to sleep.
