The Ten Tailed Demon (Shikamaru Love Story)

Chapter 9

The Next Day~~~
   "Sakura at point D."
   "Sasuke on point C."
   "Kakashi and Naomi on point B."
   "....Naruto on point A!"
   "Naruto you're too slow!" Kakashi said. "Are we sure it's the right one?"
   "Yes. There's a red ribbon on its ear." Sakura said. I looked at him and nodded.
   "Alright ready?.....Now!" Kakashi yelled.
   We all jump out of our hiding spots and try to grab the cat but Naruto has it. I crouch and stretch my arms out to the little cat and it stares at me. It jumps out of Naruto's hold and into my arms. I hold it carefully and pet it making it purr. I grab its paw and gently give it a squeeze. I have a blush on my face but you can't see it. I loved animals so much.
   "How come you're so good with animals Naomi-chan?" Naruto asks. I look at him and shrug. I stand up and we all go back to the Hokage's office.
   "Good job Team Kakashi. Now your next mission is to babysit-"
   "No no no! I want a real mission! Not some D-Rank babysitting mission!!" Naruto yelled.
   "You disrespectful little brat! You're only a genin!" Iruka yelled.
   I stood next to Naruto and looked at gramps. He sighed and looked at us.
   "Naomi how many times do I have to tell you this. Naruto listen well." Uh oh....it's the speech about what missions really are and mean. I tuned out and played with my snakes while Naruto talks about ramen with the others.
"LISTEN TO WHAT I'M SAYING!!" Gramps yelled.
I sweat dropped and rubbed my head but I still zoned out. I tuned back in when a man who smelled like booze walked in. I crinkled my nose and covered it.
   "You expect me to put my life in the hands of these kids? I don't trust them especially the short one with the dumb looking face."
   "Haha! who's the short one with the dumb looking face?" Naruto laughed.
   We all lined up and it was me and Sasuke as the tallest next was Sakura and then Naruto.
   "I'll kill you!" Naruto lunged only to have Kakashi hold him back.
   "Now now Naruto. We're supposed to protect him not kill him. Alright guys meet up at the front gate around 1:30. See you then." Kakashi told us and we all left.
I went home to get ready for another date. I walked towards my closet and scanned my dresses again. I saw the perfect dress and snatched it off the hanger. I brushed my hair and curled ALL of my hair. I put on a white matching underwear set and I put the dress on. It was a beautiful sleeveless white dress that had blue flowers around the neck area going down that ended right above my knee. This white dress made my violet eye pop out more. I went into the bathroom and fluffed my curls before hair spraying it. I grabbed my eyeliner and drew a little wing on each eye and waited for it to dry. While that was drying I put on a clear coat of lip gloss that made my, already pink lips, pop and shiny. I then frowned and wiped it off then putting a mask on, but I put the gloss in my purse. Then I curled my eyelashes and put mascara on. I looked in the mirror and smiled at my reflection. I walked and grabbed a pair of silver heels and put them on. I look at myself in the mirror and smiled. I looked pretty hot, not to be conceited. I put my weapons pouch on my left leg just in case and then grabbed my purse. I walked downstairs and a knock came right when I reached the bottom. I smiled and opened the door. Shikamaru was standing there with his usual ninja outfit. He saw me and his eyes widen. Great I feel self conscious again. I grab my arm and rubbed it while blushing a bit.
"Wow...you look beautiful.." he said. He blushed and held out his hand. I grabbed it and he lead me down the road. "So how was your day?" He asked.
'It was good. We have a mission later so I don't want to be late.' I showed him my notebook and he nodded.
"It won't take that long. We're almost there anyways." He pulls me and we started walking into the forest. It felt like forever before there was light. We walked towards it and my eyes widen at the scenery. It was a beautiful field of flowers!
'I remember this place..' I heard Misaki say.
'You've been hear before??' I asked her.
'Yes...it was a decade ago. I had been sealed inside of a young woman who had the brightest green hair anyone has ever seen. Her boyfriend had taken her up here too as a date. But it all went downhill as the man was killed... I'll continue this another time, I don't want to ruin your mood.' I smiled sadly and mentally nodded.
  I ran into the field spinning in circles and adoring the different flowers. I stop to look at Shika and waved him over. He smiled and walked over.

Shika's POV~~~
   She's so beautiful. I can't believe someone like me was able to take her out. I watched as she danced and twirled around in the field of flowers. I smiled softly as she waved me over to join her. I walked over and she jumped into my arms. I stared at her face in confusion and saw that she was scared.
   "What's wrong?!" She pointed and there was a little bee flying up and around. I chuckled and held her closely. "The bee isn't going to hurt you. Relax." I felt her relax in my arms and I turned her around. We both stare across the field admiring the different colors. "Are you hungry?" I asked and on que her stomach growls. She holds her stomach and nods. I chuckle and we sat down. I pulled out the basket from a scroll and took out the food. I made some sushi, egg omelets, some dangos and water. I grabbed the two plates and handed her one and we both grabbed some food and ate.

I HATE THAT I HAVE TO END IT HERE BUTTTTTT...... how are you guys doing?! I've been getting comments about my story and it just makes me so happy to know people enjoy reading my book. I ALSO HAVE 6K WOOHOOO!!! 🎉 I THANK EVERYONE WHO READ MY BOOK AND HAD SUPPORTED ME!! It means the world to me! As you guys know or not but I recently moved to another state and I'm getting used to it. Adapting it better. I also have exams this week and to EVERYONE who have exams this week GOOD LUCK!! I know I haven't been updating but it's been really stressful trying to manage school and online school. I have to retake a class so I decided to take it online and yeeeaahhh. But I will try my very best to update more. Reading stories on wattpad really calms me. But ANYWAYYYYY.... OH WAIT! So I have been creating other stories as well and they're all on my notes. I'm not gonna post them sadly until I can finish these other books. But if you want you can message me and I'll send you a preview and what it's about but please DO NOR JUDGE ME FOR WHAT I WRITE!! /_\ I just enjoy writing little fanfics and I love putting my OC into them.
