Chapter 10

Naomi's POV~~~
Shikamaru had walked me home after the wonderful date. Once we had reached my door he bid me farewell. I blushed and waved shyly before walking inside. I walked up to my room with a smile and started packing my items for the mission.
  I grabbed a scroll and sealed some food and water in it. Then grabbed a different scroll for extra weapons. I changed into my regular ninja clothes with my hair still curled and grabbed my flute, fans and katanas. I strapped them on and put extra clothes inside my backpack along with the scrolls.
"Let's go Yin, Yang." I called my ninja snakes and they slithered up onto my shoulders. I left my room to meet up with the others.

At the Gate~
As we all walked out of the gates Naruto turned back and cheered happily. I rose an eyebrow at him.
"Naruto why are you yelling?!" Sakura asked.
"I'm going outside of the village for the first time ever!" Naruto replied. I silently giggled.
"Are you sure I'll be safe in his hands?" Tazuna asked Kakashi.
"Don't worry you have me and Naomi." Kakashi replied.
"Hmm...the little girl doesn't look like she can do much.." Tazuna said.
Kakashi froze in his spot and his eye widened as he slowly turned to look at me. I was sickly smiling with a purple aura surrounding me.
"S-She can do a lot.. D-Don't worry." Kakashi stuttered and nervously laughed.
  "So Mr. Tazuna. You're from the Land of Waves right?" Sakura asked.
  "Yes. Why do you need to know?" Tazuna asked.
  "Are there any ninja in that country Kakashi-sensei?" She asked.
  "No there isn't." Kakashi replied. Then he started telling about ninjas in different areas and blah blah blah. I wasn't really interested since I already knew everything.
As we were walking a noticed a puddle and deadpanned. These people think we're that stupid? I couldn't resist so I jumped all over the puddle and giggled with a purple aura surrounding me again. Kakashi watched my with a sweat drop and then I continued walking. Then chains flew out. One of them "killed" Kakashi and the others and I were on alert. I grabbed my katanas as a chain was about to hit. The chains wrapped around and I pulled the ninja towards me. His face was right in front of mine before I twisted my body and kicked him right in the face. But because the chained were still wrapped around I brought him back and punched him. I unwrapped the chains and he flew back hitting a tree very hard. I put my katanas back and wrapped the ninja in its own chains against a tree. I looked back to see Sasuke taking care of the other ninja.
  "Good job Naomi, Sasuke. Sorry about that Naruto. I didn't think you would freeze like that." Kakashi appeared holding the ninja.
  "Hey." Sasuke called out.
  "Yeah?" Naruto asked.
  "You're not hurt are you? Scaredy cat." Sasuke said in a teasing voice.
  "Naruto I wouldn't move around too much if I were you. They had poison on their claws. If you move it'll spread inside your blood." Kakashi said. "Mr. Tazuna we need to have a talk." Kakashi tied the other guy on the same tree and we all surround them.
  "How did you know?" One of them asked.
  I took out my notebook and scribbled. I turned it around and showed it to them while my eyebrow twitched.
'A puddle? Really? It hasn't rained in days. You are really stupid.'
  "You're the once who jumped on the puddle! Do you know how painful that was?!" The the one asked. I shrugged my shoulders and walked away.
  Kakashi then started talking to Tazuna about points that I had already thought of so I sat under a different tree while I close my eyes and calm down.
  "Naomi. We're leaving." I heard Kakashi call me. I open my eyes and got up. "We should go back and treat Naruto's wound."
  Naruto then grabbed a kunai and stabbed his hand. My eyes widen and I took a step towards him. "I swear on this wound that I will never let someone protect me again. I won't lose to Sasuke and I won't be a coward! I'll be stronger and protect others!" Naruto said.
  I smiled and walked up to him. I grabbed his hand and brought out my bandages.
  "Naruto that was an amazing speech and all but if you lose anymore blood then..you're going to die." Kakashi said bluntly. Then it got silent.

  Naruto's hand started shaking and he started sweating. "NO NO NO!! PLEASE HELP ME I'M TOO YOUNG TO DIE!!" He cried out. I cleaned the wound and started to wrap when I notice the wound was already healing. Must be from the 9 Tails power. I finished wrapping his hand and cleaned up. We walked and went onto a boat that lead us to where we needed to go. Unfortunately I had to sit next to Sasuke because he complained about Saukra. So now Sakura is glaring at me and I just looked down at the water.
"We should be reaching the bridge very soon. After that we'll be in the Land of the Waves." The guy rowing said.
I look up once he said that. I watch as the bridge got closer and closer and my eyes widen at the size of it.
  "Woah it's huge!" Naruto yelled.
  I giggled. 'That's what she saiiid.~'
"You are so perverted..." Misaki sighed.
'Who do you think I got that from?' I giggled.
  "SHH!! Keep it down! If they hear you and find us we'll all be in trouble!" The guy rowing whispered harshly.
  "Tazuna I need to know why there are ninja after you or else I have to call off this mission." Kakashi said.
"I guess I have no choice but to tell you. There is a man who is after me." Tazuna explained.
"After you?" Kakashi repeated.
"I'm sure you've heard of him or at least his company. He's one of the richest men in the world. His name is Gato." Tazuna said.
"Gato?? Of the Gato Company??" Kakashi asked.
"Yes but besides taking over other people's companies he is the drug business. He hires many gangs and ninja to get what he wants. He had gotten to the Land of the Waves and used his money and violence to take over the land." Tazuna said.
Well...all I know is that it this is definitely NOT a C ranked mission...
