he proclaimed his love for her from the top of his ash-filled lungs and blackened heart - their hands intertwined, bodies radiating with unbridled passion;

but like all good things, his love faded away.

she wished on so many stars, not realizing they've been dead for millennia; her heart refused to remove the strings he latched onto her - creating a web of lies that slowly ripped her apart;

and ended with "goodbye"
