Carmen

I wake to the front door slamming.

I move around for a minute, opening my eyes.

I fell asleep on the couch.

Mr. and Mrs. Cerda, Mom and Dad, Cooper and Caroline, Shaun and Miranda, Declan, Kyle, and baby Ava are in here.

Tyler enters the room then. He looks worried sick.

Groggy, I look at the clock.

9:27am.

"Shit." I sit up, rubbing my eyes. "The kids."

"I dropped them off at school." Cooper says.

I sigh quietly.

"Thank you." I mumble. "I'm sorry guys, about last night."

"It's okay." Caroline says.

"What happened last night?" Tyler asks.

"Nothing." I say.

He frowns.

"She called Delaney." Cooper says. "Delaney said she knows about your dick because she snuck into the bathroom in Florida when you were showering. She made comments about your ass...and dick, and the water running down your body. Carmen blames herself because she let a Sarah replica into your life, and she cried herself to sleep."

Tyler looks at me.

"Sunshine, this isn't your fault." He says.

I sigh, standing up.

I stretch, and I feel everything cracking.

The world start spinning.

I let out a slow breath, sitting back down.

"I failed you as your wife and as the mother of your children."

"Carmen, if what happened yesterday was switched with you supposedly sleeping with Blake...and there was a paternity test to prove it...I'd believe the science."

"That's comforting." I grumble.

"You believed in me." he says. "You're not a failed wife. And a failed mother? Are you serious? Emily hasn't done one bad thing since she got her stuff back, and you frightened the boys so badly that they aren't stepping out of line either. You make their lunch, you-"

"Had my four year old son walk me to his class because I didn't know where it was."

"You're an excellent wife and mother. You took a break. So what?"

"You had to give me a tour of our house." I whisper.

"You're not a failure." He says. "Don't even think it. Now, I've brought you a change of clothes because you have a doctor's appointment at ten fifteen, remember?" he asks.

I groan.

"I'm not leaving. I'll go home. I'm not going in public."

"If I'm going in public, you're going in public."

"I just want to lay around and be depressed."

"That's not an option. Let's go."

We brought Declan with us and went to the doctor's appointment.

This is the first appointment we've had since three months.

The doctor we have is the doctor that I had for Emily.

"Your babies are very healthy." She smiles.
