Chapter 9 | Beachy Keen

I woke up at 9:34 A.M. with my two best friends Carlee and Karina nearby. Karina was already awake, but Carlee was still sleeping.

As we woke up, we ate breakfast. I had grapes and watermelon with Carlee, but Karina wasn't hungry. We then, sat on our phones for about 30 minutes just watching YouTube and looking at our social medias while we ate breakfast.

Shortly after, we got dressed and got our bags ready for the beach. I put my bathing suit on, brushed my hair and teeth, got my bag ready, and we were out the door.

It was only an hour drive, because we are a border state (a state that is on the border of the USA, near an ocean).

When we got there we immediately settled everything in, put sun lotion on, and went in the ocean. Sometimes we boogie-boarded and other times we just body surfed.

We took breaks to reapply sunscreen, drink water, or eat lunch/snacks. Karina's dad called us water bugs because even if we were hungry, we didn't want to get out of the ocean.

     We had a really fun day with the boogie-boards and  body surfing even though we aren't really good at it.

     Around 5:00 P.M. we had to start heading home before there was lots of traffic.  We gathered all of our belongings, folded up our chairs and towels, and we were soon walking back to get all the sand off of our bathing suits and feet.

     When we got in the car, Carly (Karina's Sister) and I were playing Pokemon Go!  Carlee fell asleep and Karina listened to music.

     When we got home, Karina and Carly walked me home because we live in the same neighborhood and Carly wanted to catch more Pokemon. 

     As soon as I got home I jumped right into the shower.  I got all the sand off of me and out of my hair.  I felt so refreshed after that.

     Finally, I played some MineCraft PC until Big Brother came on at 8:00 P.M.  After Big Brother was over at 9:00 P.M. I fell right to sleep because I was so exhausted.  Goodnight!

Sorry, I haven't been updating my books!  Summer has been a blast and I didn't really have time to write because I have been have a busy and fun Summer.

I will be writing a lot more soon!
