An in-between girl ran through the trees
Panting and Pacing through the leaves
Heavy breaths and heavy air
The midnight sun seems light and fair

A silent boy watches from a cage
Singing and smelling the scent of sage
Bright green eyes meet blue-grey
The midnight sun turns to day

The in-between girl lies on her bed
Shades of green and grey dance in her head
Confusing lies, confusing thoughts
As she falls in love, her childhood rots

The boy sleeps away in his cage
Dreaming of breaking free in rage
The free spirited girl who ran through the leaves
Fills his cold heart with warmth as she controls his dreams

Love is a disease, Love is a curse
You need to be cured, or it will turn worse
"Too late," she thinks. "I have the Deliria."
But the chains bound around her, she will never be free of.

The invalid boys looks with love and desire
At the girl who runs like spreading fire
Free like a bird up in the sky
Singing and dreaming up way too high

The supposedly invisible girl has a secret
The grey blue of her eyes filled with longing and regret
She wants to love, she wants to be free
Yet her chains keep just too far from the green sea
~~~
The inbetween girl and the invalid in a cage
Share a love that sadly too well known throughout the age
Too far to touch, too far to reach
Yet close enough to love, and close your eyes and breathe
