Riley's POV.

I stared up at the roof of the ambulance. My whole body was numb, I knew people were around me but I couldn't move. Why can't I move? I said to myself.

"Riley, You can't move because your body is in shock" The female paramedic told me. Maybe I didn't say that to myself.

The ambulance came to a stop and the doors open. The cold September wind made chills crowd down my spine.

The paramedics rolled me down the hall while doctors and nurses came to my side. This that I couldn't understand were being yelled around me, others started asking me questions the I couldn't answer were being asked.

I heard a female voice calling my name, I look up to see my mom

standing over me, a look of terror and horror covered her face. "Riley, you chest" she cried. I looked down at my now bare chest to see a lager cut along it.

"Ma'am you need to get out of the way" one of the doctors said as one of the nurses guided her down the hall in the opposite direction.

I stared up at the ceiling as someone cleaned and covered my cut. Before I knew I was out.

Hailey's POV

It's so peaceful here. Smiling faces welcomed me. Some of them I could recall but others not a chance.

This place is so white, so beautiful.

I woman who I recognize the right away came over to me. "Hailey" she cried pulling me into a hug. "What are you doing here?" She asked. Her one beautiful smile was not upon her lips. "It's not your time"

"What on earth do you mean Grandma?" The woman in front of me took a step back.

"It's not your time Hailey" My Grandmother said. "Go back it's not your time" She stepped back again.

"Grandma!" I cried but she was goon. Tears to my eyes and my vision became blurry....

Air filled my lungs as I gasped. The sound of beeping and muffled voices filled my ears. I started coughing uncontrollably when somebody started rubbing my back.

"Why did you wake me up?" I asked the doctor. "It was so peaceful their."

"Hailey you died. Your heart stopped. You're lucky you came back"  His eyes were wide open and looking directly into mine "You were dead"

I looked down at my hands, my slim needlepoint fingers. I looked back up at the doctor "Did... did you just called me Hailey?" Before he could answer I asked him a different question "Where's Riley?"

"I'll see if he's awake." He said then got up. Before he exited he turned back around "Someone is waiting to see you" then he walked out.

I decided to take note of my surroundings. Multiple needles and monitors were all over my body. My heart beat the slow and not very steady.

The door to my room squeak open and Connor walked in. His blue eyes filled with tears. There is a bandage on his forehead he probably hit his head in the crash. He kneeled down beside my bed, He stayed silent for a minute letting the tears fall down his face. "I'm so sorry Hailey!" He cried. "It's all my fault"

"I know for a fact that it wasn't your fault Connor" I said running my hand through his blonde. "It's not your fault" I cried with him.
