Saturday Morning

Londyn
"I'm sorry mommy's baby, I'm so sorry." I whispered.

Sitting in my own thoughts, the door soon opened revealing Dr. Tiffany.

"Hello Mrs. Wallis, I'm going to ask you a few questions okay?"

I nodded, tears slowly trailing down my face.

"Why are you here today at the In-clinic abortion center?"

Alessia
After everything Izan had told me last night, I know that he was more than hurt.

I couldn't believe everything his mom went through.

It was beyond languishing. No one should ever have to go through that.

I thank the Lord above for Izan because he has a true testimony.

He could've been anywhere else, lost, or even dead. To the one and only above, I'm glad that Izan is right here with me.

Taking out the pancake mix, sausage, eggs, bacon, and cinnamon rolls I got to tearing down the kitchen with my cooking skills.

Last night, I couldn't stop thinking about Izan. It was like this repetitive process.

At around 3:00 am, I had called my mommy and told her all about how I felt. I even mentioned the sudden appearance of David and Kesha, along with the baby.

She decided to give me very helpful advice on how I've been feeling towards Izan.

Scrambling the eggs, I grabbed a handful of shredded cheese and sprinkled it over the yolk.

Checking on the cinnamon rolls, I took them out to see that they were completely finished.

When I was done cooking, I prepared the table and poured Izan and I some orange juice free of pulp.

Fixing both of our plates, I heard a cough coming from around the corner.

I smiled to myself, continuing to fix his plate.

"Well dang, whipping it up again?" Izan asked playfully, coming over to stand right beside me.

"Trynna get me fat." He joked, laughing slightly.

I glanced over to see he was shirtless, and fitting some grey basketball shorts.

Pursing my lips together, I breathed out saying a simple. "Good morning."

"Good morning Alessia." He replied back licking his lips.

Walking over towards the table, I put his plate down and then mine.

"Okay, let's eat shall we?" I asked, sitting down.

Izan sat down in the chair next to me, grabbing my hand.

Izan
"Let's pray, shall we?"

Alessia looked into my eyes as she nodded willingly.

"Lord, we come to you this morning to thank you for this un promised day. Lord, we will continue to walk this path in your name, we will continue to live and love through you. We thank you for everything you have done for us and we thank you for everything you will continue to do for us, thank you for the food that you have prepared on this table and thank you Dear Lord for life. We love you so much and Jesus name we pray... Amen."
