Enjoy babies
Jamie
It was the next morning and my body was aching twice as bad. It felt as if someone was stabbing me everywhere, over and over again.I couldn't wait until 11:00 because that's the only time I was able to take my antibiotics for the pain.
Groaning, I closed my eyes tightly waiting for the soreness to subside.
Alessia was asleep on the couch, meanwhile Izan and Seth had left earlier to go to a meeting regarding the studio opening.
Finishing up the rest of the breakfast Seth had brought me before he left, I continued to watch Sponge Bob to stir my mind away from the negatives.
Yesterday night consisted of praying and silence with the family. Pretty much, enjoying one another's company.
Even though, I couldn't stop thinking about my mothers sudden appearance. Ever since she showed up last night, past memories seemed to overtake and use me.
She used to be so beautiful. So beautiful to the point where I used to think she was the most flawless woman in the world.
My mom was Caucasian, so her skin was much more paler and wrinkly now.
Her bright brown eyes were now dark and dull.
Her long black hair turned into jagged ends and was so thin.
Everything about her has just changed.
Ever since I was 7.I had always wished that she was never introduced to drugs.
Not every wish comes true...
well I know mine did not.I sighed, holding back the many tears that so badly wanted to fall.
The sharp pains located in my thigh started to build up causing me to reach over for my prescribed antibiotics.
Checking the clock on the wall, it was 10:55AM. I poured two into my hand gulping them down with water.
Turning my head towards the door, Seth and Izan entered.
I shushed them, making sure they didn't wake Alessia.
"We about to head out Jamie, I'll tell Alessia to call you. I know you're tired." Izan mentioned, picking Alessia up like a baby.
I nodded, thanking him.
"Love you big head."
He came over to hug me as best as possible with Alessia in his hands. "I love you too, drive safe."
Sitting in the chair right next to my bed, Seth grabbed ahold of my hand. The door closed softly, indicating Izan had left.
Taking a short breath, Seth leaned over to kiss my forehead. "You feeling okay?"
I nodded. "I just took my antibiotics."
He nodded also.
"You ready to talk?" He asked genuinely.
I nodded once again, taking a deep breath.
"I'm not going to rush you at all, take all the time you need."
I squeezed his hand tightly, closing my eyes.
"The lady who came in here last night was my mother. My mom is heavily on drugs. It began when I was 7 and she hasn't stopped ever since."
