"No, I think I want to do a gender reveal."My mama nodded, taking down notes in her journal. "Okay, when do you find out the gender again?" She asked, lifting an eyebrow.
"They say in 2 more months."
My phone began ringing, I reached over to retrieve it.
"Can you open the door?"
I looked out the sheer window cover to see Aliana and Adaeze.
Standing up from the couch, I walked over towards the front door and opened it for the two.
"Hey." Aliana and Adaeze said at the same time. I smiled, pulling the both of them into a hug.
Adaeze smiled, rubbing my tummy. "You're so small." Adaeze giggled.
I nodded. "I'm only two months."
The two found their way inside of the living room and took a seat on the couch.
"Hey beautiful girls!" My mom rejoiced, kissing their foreheads.
"What y'all come over here for? Everything okay?" I asked, crossing my feet.
"Yes." Aliana said. I noticed Adaeze shoot her a look. I immediately figured something was up.
"Come upstairs, Aliana." I dictated, not taking no for an answer.
"Adaeze you can come with, ma I'll be back."
My mom nodded. I began walking up the staircase. Entering Izan's and I room, I took a seat on our King sized bed.
"What's the matter?" I asked Aliana as she looked down.
"The abortion I had... I'm regretting it Alessia."
I looked into her eyes. She bit down on her lip.
Aliana had an abortion a while back when the situation had resolved itself.
She hadn't told anybody, but the guilt suddenly began weighing her down, so she told me.
"I understand I didn't want my baby to grow up without a father, but it's more than that. He's the boy who hurt me, he was the boy who was willingly ready to kill me. He set me up and I didn't want to birth a kid to remind me of him..."
"But then again, I feel as if I'm a murderer. I killed a child who didn't ask to be born into this world. I feel like shit Alessia and I don't know what to do or how to handle this."
I stopped Aliana by grabbing her shaky hand. "Stop it." I sternly inputted.
"Aliana, look at me!" I softly, yet loudly said as I noticed her looking off everywhere else, but me.
