Survive-Daryl Dixon (Completed)

Chapter 3

We pull into the prison and get out they have it pretty well set up here, very secure doors, gardens, animals, some kind of water recycling system that Daryl tried to explain to me but he didn't seem to know what it really was either.  As we get out Michonne and Rick quickly storm over somewhere as a Korean man tells them to. He smiles and tells me his name, "Glenn" and quickly storms off to where Rick and Michonne went. I hope everything is okay. Daryl let's out a loud sigh and says,"I guess that leaves me to show you around." 

The nerve of this guy makes me want to slap him but I fight the urge to, a give him a "thank you" smile and he starts to show me around. We start at the gardens and he explains how they grow most their food, we walk around and look at the homemade water recycling system, then the bathrooms, as I look and see multiple people taking showers and I give Daryl a desperate look and he nods and says, "I will wait, hurry"

I run in and look around there are 10 shower stalls, with blurry transparent curtains for each one I see multiple people taking showers, I go to the farthest stall as I am about to get undressed I hear an annoying noise and I look over and see Daryl tapping his foot on the floor as a motion to tell me to hurry in an obnoxious way. When I look over to him he looks at me and taps his watch and says "tick-tok."

I roll my eyes and go behind the curtain and start to undress, there are tiny bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the corner on the shower floor I must have spent 30 minutes scrubbing the dirt off my self. 

I look in my bag and grab my tooth brush, I try to brush my teeth as much as I can wherever I go. After I am finished I go to grab my towel and dry myself off I reach for my clothes but they aren't there. I pull the towel around myself and look around they are nowhere to be found, Daryl catches a glimpse of me and laughs, I must of had a really confused look on my face. 

He says "I knew you would be a while so I took your clothes to go get washed and I brought you some news ones." 

He gets them and brings them over to me I nod with a thank you. And quickly change. (Note to self maybe he isn't such a dick after all) I do realize if I were to put my dirty clothes on it would just get me dirty again so I find myself extremely thankful. Clean body, clean clothes, clean hair, clean teeth. I haven't felt this good in forever! I grab my backpack and walk out I have a gigantic smile on my face, Daryl laughs at me and I punch him on the shoulder and say 

"Hey I haven't had a shower or clean clothes in months I am aloud to smile. Besides it doesn't look like you have taken one in that long either"

Seriously he looks the same I did when I came here, he probably doesn't like to get to comfortable in places, I am the same way but, a shower is a shower.

After looking everywhere he takes me to where I sleep there is a bunk bed in each room, it looks like someone else sleeps on top bunk.

"Who's on the top?"

"Uh, I am, usually group members get there own rooms but I made a exception, because we don't have any other rooms available right now."
"Oh, uh, thanks...."
"Yep"

There is an awkward silence of us just standing there so I break it when I see the folded sheets and blankets laying on the mattress, I walk over and make him help me put them on.

"So how long have you guys been at the prison?"
"Eh, about 4 months"
"Wow. How long has Michonne been with you guys?"
"She was with us at the beginning of the prison,  some crazy shit happened then and that's when we met her."
"Like?"
"It's a story for another time" 

I nod. We continued to talk and laugh a little for a while until a old man named Hershel comes in and tells us it was time for dinner, Daryl surprised me he is actually a good guy once you get to know him. 

We walk to the dinning hall, there is lots of people there so we find a small table in the back and grab a plate from the front, it has raw vegetables and by my guessing canned beans. We continue to talk and eventually are about to put our plates away when we hear yelling and Glenn comes over to us a tells us to get the spears and go to the fences. 

We run to the weapons room and get the spears and quickly run out to the fences, there is a big fence breaking apart from all the, "walkers" that's what they call them here. We stop in shock and run over to the fence we start putting the spears through the walkers head as more people join in until the fence officially breaks free.

Sorry for the cliff hanger 😂 And there hasn't been like any action till the end of this chapter so I apologize for that as well. Also I know I publish at like 1-4 am usually sorry for that as well 😂 I have the most ideas at night for some reason, I am usually watching Grey's Anatomy or rewatching episodes of twd at this time any ways so sorry for that again.
