I have been super inactive lately and I apologize I have been so busy with school and volleyball practice everyday. I Also remember last chapter was a flashback so the one before the last is were this is starting off.
We all get into the minivan Daryl, Michonne, Carol, Rick, and I. I go into the passenger seat and Rick drives.
Carol and Michonne sit in the two middle seats and Daryl alone in the back. My arm aches from not taking pain killers before we went, I told myself I didn't need them but I am beginning to regret that decision.
We come across a herd and we drive through hitting walkers as we go. Once we get to the super store I stop and look. Maybe a couple hundred walkers just outside of this place. I can't imagine how this will work.
We step out of the car. Rick and Daryl make a plan while Carol, Michonne and I take down the upcoming walkers.
We decide on covering ourselves with walker intestines. Its pretty easy to do just time consuming, getting all the guts on us,it takes time. Rick grabs a walker and I do too. We start chopping up the bodies and spreading it on each other.
Once we are done I start to go in and my arm of course is starting to spazz out. Like it does when the pain is to much. So the walkers start to get near me and for how stupid they are they actually start noticing me. I look back at Daryl I am still mad at him and waiting for him to apologize because I am sure as hell not apologizing to him.
He does know about my spazz attack things and I am pretty sure he is the only one who knows.
We start to form into a tight group and Daryl explains what is going on with my arm while I fight off the incoming walkers. Rick nods at what they are saying and he looks up. There is a light pole with the electric wire hanging down and a car under it I look at Daryl and shake my head.
There is only one choice and this is it so I start to go up the car when Daryl stops me I look at him and realizes that what I am doing is basically suicide but I have to do it in order to save the group, he presses his lips against mine.
Soon the hate and anger goes away and I realize this might be the last time I ever see him and the others again.
"Listen I am sorry, I shouldn't have made you come you are as injured as any of the other gunshot victims. Especially the the ones that volunteered to go and were told no."
I stand there in awe, wow, that is probably the most heart felt or more of a sincere thing Daryl Dixon has ever said.
"I love you. So don't die."
We haven't said I love you yet, honestly I thought we never would. I kiss him for one second then whisper in his ear a quiet
"you too"
I jump up onto the car and look at him for a second I close my eyes and walk away my arm stops spazzing out and the walkers that starting to notice us are officially attacking.
The group starting attack at them but most are going after me since I took my gutty intestine jacket off. So I smell more living than dead now. I grab the wire and start putting one hand in front of the other. My arm still hurts like a bitch but I keep hoping to god that it won't start spazzing out.
All the sudden a squirrel runs up onto the wire. What the hell?! How is that thing still alive? Along with the squirrel it starts raining, hard raining like it hurts every drop.
I watch as I see the squirrel's frail body slip on the wire and fall into a big group of walker.
I feel sorry for the little squirrel for about a second until the wire starts to rip. The squirrel's nail must have ripped the wire when it was trying to grasp the wire as it fell. It is hanging on a thread and whatever move I make I know it will determine my fate.
I slowly put my hand in front of the other hand but it slips too and the wire breaks. I swing down and fall to the floor smacking my head on the parking lot.
Walkers stop to walk over to me ready to feed and I realize having another concussion is the least of my worries but also could be my last as a walker approaches.
Everything is blurry and I cant't get up I hurt to bad. Some blurry walkers fall to the floor, but others come its to blurry for me to tell but one is at my feet and the other at my head and another next to my stomach. I start to feel drowsy and then blackout.
Sorry for the cliffhanger.
