Chapter 32

Peter Pan's P.O.V.

I didn't have any strength to teleport so I walked. I walked for a while, letting my feet carry me wherever. I ended up at the lagoon. I saw the blood on the stones, the water cleared up. But I can still see the pool of it there in the back of my mind. This wasn't my first kill, and probably won't be my last.  Daniel was a good guy, but I couldn't figure out the reason he would wish to leave Neverland. The lost boys and me. I couldn't find Hook when I searched for him earlier, but I really wanted to rip his shadow. I picked up a small rock and threw it with full strength into the water, letting a growl out.

"Someone is angry I can see." I heard a voice behind me.

"Hook," I growled turning around to face him. He stood a few behind me, his hook in the air and a sly smile on his lips.

"I did what you want. I spoke with Clary, now, give me the bean." He told walking towards me.

"Before we talk about that, I have a small question for you. Did the mermaids know about the deal?" I asked as I arched a brow. He stopped walking.

"No." He shrugged as I started circling around him.

"Do you want to try  answering again?" I asked. He swallowed and avoided my gaze. Guilty definitely.

" I don't know." He told silently, making me let a deep chuckle out. a

"One of my boys was killed today because of you! I told you to keep your mouth shut, but you had to tell to Smee, didn't you? "His eyes found mine. " Pirate is a pirate. " I said coldly grabbing his neck. He grabbed my hand, trying to get my hand off of him. He rose his hook, ready to attack but I snapped the fingers of my other hand and his hook appeared seconds later in it.  hand. "Nice try."

"Change of the deal. No magic bean for you pirate, but you will get some fresh food for your crew. Enjoy your stay on Neverland Killian." I stated leting him go.

"Pan a deal is a deal." He said, massaging his neck. I there his hook in front of him, making him glare at me. I just shrugged in reply. He picked the hook up and put it back onto his arm.

"Oh, really. Well, you are the first one who broke it. Go to your ship captain Hook." I said and teleported back to the camp. I started walking to my tent, but then turned on my heal and went to Clary. I didn't hear anything inside, so I slowly and quietly entered. I saw her lying in a chair, covered in sweat. Nightmare. With a sigh, I picked her up and placed her on her bed covering her with a blanket. I removed the sweat from her forehead with a cloth I found on her table. Her small whimpers made me almost wake her up, but I knew she had to face her nightmares.  After some time I left her alone and went back to my tent, ready to go to bed. My mind remembered my shadow, and what it told me. It made me wonder if there was another reason I wanted her to stay. Why I couldn't send her back. Could it be, that I just want her close to me, maybe even in my arms?

I was running through the jungle, I heard cries of children, someone was calling my name. Everything was fuzzy. I was running towards a voice. The voice become more clear as I got closer. Clary. I ran faster, then it was a dead end. I was on the cliff, but she was not here.
