Chapter {13}

No ones POV

"Leave her alone." A female voice spoke out loud.

Lucy spun around quickly, causing Stings hands to retreat away from her shoulders. She was feeling a bit frightened being all by herself with the guys, or "trouble". She was relieved to hear someone else in her presence.

Although when she fully spun around to see whose voice the speaker belonged to, she was surprised to see Lisanna. And for some reason, a small amount of the relief she had gotten slipped away once more.

"Lisanna?" Lucy uttered. It wasn't that she didn't like her or didn't want to see her, but there was definitely still tension between the two girls. It was Natsu tension.

"Sting, you creep! Scaring Lucy like that, you should be ashamed of yourself. No one will like you if you act like that." Lisanna says walking over to the group.

Sting crosses his arms over his chest and scoffs. "It's not like I was gonna do anything, you of all people should know." He responds smugly. Lisanna only shakes her head.

She walks over to Lucy and gestures for Lucy to follow her. Lucy scrambles over to her, away from the guys and walks side by side next to Lisanna.

Before they walk away Lisanna gives the group a disgusted look.

Lucy and Lisanna walk towards the school exit together in silence. It was an awkward silence and Lucy was tempted to say something to make it less weird, yet she didn't know what exactly she would say. After the incident with Natsu, Lucy hadn't really talked to Lisanna either. Truly, she avoided them both.

When they were finally outside and on their way to the dorms, Lucy speaks up. "Thanks for getting me out of there." She says. Lisanna only nods. The awkward silence suddenly appeared again and lingered over the two teens as they continued to walk towards the dorms.

But after a while, Lisanna finally decided to talk.

"I know what you're doing, Lucy." Lisanna says. Lucy's head turns sharply towards her. She was caught off guard by the sudden remark. Lisanna continued staring straight ahead, not making eye contact.

"What I'm doing?" Lucy asks.

"You're ignoring Natsu, why?"

Lucy stops in her tracks. Her expression filled with confusion and a hint of irritation.

"Why? Because you made it pretty clear I was in getting in the way of you guys' relationship! I don't want to ruin something important to you." Lucy states.

Lisanna stops and turns around to face Lucy.

"I didn't mean for you to completely ignore him or anything, I was only angry because you lied to me." Lisanna says.

Lucy says nothing at first. How is it Lisanna realized it before even she, herself did? That she liked Natsu.

"It wasn't a lie...at first." Lucy says. "I honestly didn't think I liked him." Lucy explains.

Lisanna nods. "Still, lie or not I shouldn't have been so rude. I gave you the wrong idea. He isn't mine and he's made that pretty clear." She says looking down.
