Lucy sat quietly in the passenger seat next to Natsu, patiently awaiting the moment when they arrived at their destination. She stared out the window at the snow floating down from the sky. It had snowed for the first time this year last week. It was exciting the first time it fell from the sky, like it always is.

They had been driving for a while as of now, and though she didn't know where their final destination was, she was sure that they were at least close. They were quiet, besides the radio which played Christmas music, and Natsu's very occasional humming along with it. All in all it was a boring car ride. Natsu wouldn't say anything about where they were going since he had already given a hint. (Telling Lucy to pack her best outfits.) But it was fine because Lucy gave up on asking after the first 50 miles.

Soon it got to the point where the road wasn't shoveled anymore, meaning the area they were going to lacked much population. The corner of Lucy's mouth went up once she realized they were probably going to be somewhere secluded. How romantic. She thought sarcastically.

Suddenly Natsu made a sharp left turn and in Lucy's view was a small cabin.

The cabin only had one floor but looked like it still had a lot of space in it, maybe two or three bedrooms. Then it also had a chimney, which meant there was a fireplace. But then, Lucy's fantasy of a secluded cabin slowly started melting away.

For one, it was decorated with many Christmas lights, and she knew Natsu hadn't decorated it since he had been with her. Also there were two other cars parked around the cabin. Two cars which she recognized as; Gray and Levy's cars.

"Surprise!" Natsu exclaimed stretching his arms out to his sides. Lucy turned to him at the sudden burst of energy. "C'mon let's get our stuff inside! We'll be here all weekend!" He says unbuckling his seatbelt and opening his door to step out into the cold, snowy outdoors.

Lucy took a deep breath as a smile crept on her face. Who knew Natsu could set something like this up?

She got out of the car right after Natsu, following him to the trunk to get their stuff. Suddenly she had wished she knew where they would be because she would have packed way more than just her best outfits. More like layers of her best clothes. Though it was too late now so she'd just have to make do with what she had.

Once they had their stuff, they trudged through the snow towards the cabin. It was starting to snow a whole lot more now, it was coming heavy. Still, Lucy was happy that they would be ready for the impending snowstorm instead of still in their car driving.

Once inside the cabin, the couple was greeted warmly by Levy, Gajeel, Gray, and Juvia. Who had came here a little sooner than Natsu and Lucy. They were the reason that the cabin was decorated, not to mention filled with food and deserts.

"Like it Luce? You've been pretty stressed since we had to take midterm exams before winter break. Plus you always looked kind of down so I thought you needed some type of getaway." Natsu explains.

"Yeah we all noticed that much. And I don't think any of us are really sure what we want to do this winter break so I think this is a good start." Levy adds.
