O'Rush-My Family

"Girls, come on sit still." I said, as I tried to clean my daughters faces of the food they just ate. More like smeared all over themselves instead of ate. "Okay, all clean. Let's go, we've gotta get you guys changed." I said, and picked up my two girls.

"Em, have you seen my suitcase?" Kelley called from upstairs.

"Bedroom closet!" I said, as I walked up the stairs.

"My indoors?" She asked.

"Mud room." I said. She poked her head out of our room, and smiled.

"Thanks." She said, and slipped back into our room. I walked the girls into their room, and set them both on Kinsley's bed.

"Alright girls, what do we wanna wear today?" I asked, as the both shrugged their shoulders. "Come on guys, aren't you excited?" I asked.

"Yeah!" Lexi yelled.

"No." Kinsley said.

"Kins baby, you get to see Aunt Alex." I said, and she smiled.

"Okay, we can go." She said, and I smiled.

So I got the girls dressed, and grabbed their bags. Walking them downstairs, I set them down on the couch.

"Okay, I'm going to go change. You guys wanna watch the game?" I asked, and they nodded.

I turned on the game, and then jogged upstairs. Walking into our room, I stopped behind Kelley.

"What's wrong?" I asked, slipping my arms around her waist.

"Nothing." She said.

"Liar, what's bothering you?" I asked.

"We haven't seen them in so long. What if things aren't the same?" She asked.

"Things will be just like they always are. I promise." I said, and she nodded.

"Mkay. You change, I'll go watch the girls. Then we've got a plane to catch." Kelley said, and I smiled.

"Okay, see you in ten."

The team was meeting up in Paris a few days before their next friendly. Everyone was bringing their kids, and we were going to tour the city.

Getting out of the cab, I scooped Kinsley and Lexi up in me arms. Kelley grabbed our bags, as I walked to the drivers side window.

"Merci." I said to the man, and he nodded. Thank you.

Walking over to Kelley, I smiled at her. She smiled back, as we headed inside the hotel. We checked in, and then headed into the conference room.

"Emily!" I heard Alex yell. Handing Kelley the girls, I braced myself for impact. Alex slammed herself into me, wrapping her legs around my waist and her arms around my neck. Falling back, I groaned out. Alex nuzzled her head into my neck, as I hugged her back.

"Lex, my god." I said, as she laughed.

"I've missed you." She mumbled into my neck.

"I've missed you too." I said, sitting up. "But get off me."

"Fine." The forward said. She climbed off of me, and immediately turned to Kinsley and Lexi. "Babes!" Alex said.

"Babe!" The two yelled back.
