The police Inspector opened his diary and started speaking.
So, here is the story of your girl!
The actual name of Shraddha is Simrika Siwakoti. She lived in Kanyam, Illam as per her actual citizenship. She was a good student in her school but she grew up in a very disturbed family. As informed from their neighbor, her father was an alcoholic and used to torture her mother every day. She grew up in such a disturbed family watching domestic violence every day which perhaps made her so violent later. She was a very talented student and thus she got scholarship in Kasturi College in Itahari. During her higher study in Kasturi College, which is already closed now, she was marked as a very talented, smart and disciplined student. Everybody loved her. She decided to stay away from family as domestic fights were affecting her studies. So, her mother and grandmother jointly decided to send her to Birat Chowk where she worked as a shop keeper in Gorkha Department Store for 3 years and taught tuitions to students to earn her livings and pay her fees.
After she completed her higher school, she wanted to be an air hostess but her father wanted her to marry to a guy who was rich but almost double her age. She refused her father. After few weeks, she found that her father had married other women named Anamika. Till now she always looked her father as an alcoholic man but from that day she hated her father. Neighbors often heard her yelling to her father "I will kill you for ruining by mom's life".
Her mother was a patient of heart disease and she also had hypothyroid. She was often ill but she worked hard to sustain their family. After the second marriage of her father, her mother felt socially excluded. Even sympathy from the loved ones made her irritated. One night suddenly she got sick and was rushed to ICU. They needed money to operate her mother, but her father did not have money because he used to spend money haphazardly on alcohol and also on his new wife. Her mother had some savings which she secretly asked her daughter to use. Unfortunately, even that money was already used by her husband secretly which he strongly disagreed later as per Anamika. Due to lack of timely treatment, her mother died. Her grandmother was her only support then.
Her father cared about her so he wanted to marry her to a rich guy but she disagreed because that person was a divorced man and was almost double her age. He used to keep her in the house whole day so that she would not feel alone. The house was silent after her mother death as per her neighbor.
The economic burden in family was growing heavy day by day so her father decided to keep her grandmother in Old age home in Gaushala. Anamika's friend worked in the old age home so they could easily keep her there. They said she was happy in the old age home but when we reached to the old age home to investigate about Simrika, her grandmother had already lost her mental balance. Her witness was no more a valid information for us.
So, basically, let me not take it long. After few months, we were informed that Simrika killed her father whom she kept blaming to be the reason for her mother's death. The very next day in the morning, when we reached, Anamika was found unconscious and her father was dead. The jewels and 35 thousand rupees were robbed from her house.
Later in investigation we found that she was very close to Hyalbo Dorje Lama who was then one of the leaders of big gang called Scorpians in Illam. They were childhood friends. He had his reach even in Dharan. They were in love and wanted to marry. She was madly in love with his bold nature and also he was very rich. They decided to marry but her father was forcing her to marry another guy. On one side she regarded her father as the sole reason for her mother's death and on other side he was forcing not to marry her love. So, it is likely that she, under the influence of Dorje, killed her father and fled.
